Looking for advise from post op…..

I clean my mother in laws house for her on Saturday and do her ironing and I’m wondering how long it took everyone to get back to normal and be able to hoovering etc, I know everyone’s different but just looking for a general idea so I can sort someone to do it for her xxx

I had my op on the Friday & would of been able to do all that the following Saturday.. Xx

I would say about 4 weeks

I think it depends on you as a person and how your feeling. you know what your more than capable of doing. iv felt absolutely fine straight after my BA and on day 3 I cleaned all my upstairs carpets. id didn’t hurt or pull I just took my time as I know im suppose to be resting. go with your own feelings hun! youll know when your ready to get back into things xx

I couldn’t Hoover for a couple of weeks it was the one thing that hurt to do. Also you should be careful even if you feel better you are still healing internally and you might set yourself back. I would give it at least a couple of weeks and even then you should ease back in xx

Just be careful I wouldn’t try yet 🙂 they say anything that raises your blood pressure can cause bleeding don’t want a heamotoma! One of my friends had one after 4 weeks after returning to work being a carer! Please take it easy girls even if u feel better! Xxx

Im two weeks post op and can just about do lil chores xx

Probs about 3 weeks when I started hoovering but wasnt comfortable and able to do ut properly till about 5 weeks.

Ok, I will arrange for someone to help her for the first 6 weeks to be on the safe side, just hopeing another family member can step in xxx
