    Hello lovely ladies!

I would like to ask for your help…
I am considering a boob job as I started to exercise and generally be very healthy some time ago and my boobs went from a full B cup I was hapy with to barely an A cup.
Now, I am a bit of a hypochondriac as well as I am scared of needles, therefore anesthesia seems very scary for me. Can you please tell me how your experience with anesthesia was? Does the needle hurt you? Do they use mask too?
Next, can you all honestly tell me, are you fully happy with your results months / years after the surgery and didn`t you develop any symptoms or ilnesses that you are linking to your implants or that you havent had before?
This is something I am worried about the most… it is something foreign in your chest and you never know… your honesty is much appreciated… Lastly – surgeon recomendations? Any tips?

I really want to go ahead with this but I am worried but I guess its natural… thank you in advance 🙂 Zuzana xxxxx

I wasn’t with MYA so can’t suggest surgeons however I was also worried about the anaesthetic but I seriously had nothing to worry about! I don’t mind needles but cannulas have always made me feel queasy for some reason, I explained this to the anaesthetist and he said he could always give me the mask instead but was my decisions. Literally at the point of lying on the table he asked me if I’d made up my mind – I hadn’t! So he put the mask on me instead and within less than 10 seconds I was flat out … waking up just felt like I’d been in a really nice deep sleep! I woke up with the cannula in my hand and it honestly didn’t hurt at all. Whenever they used it to put medicine through it just felt like a little pressure.

Can’t comment on long term recovery as I’m only 11 days post op but so far I have no regrets. The first few days I found tricky as was house bound and couldn’t do a lot for myself but it’s definitely nothing you can’t get through and I have a terrible pain thereshold! I was off my strong painkillers during the day by day 3 and then just took a strong one (I was prescribed codeine) at night with my paracetamol as the nurse had said. I’ve not taking any form of painkiller since day 7.
I think if it’s something you’ve wanted for a long time, go for it! 🙂 I’ve wanted this doing since I was around 17 and realised my boobs were not going to grow anymore… I’m now 26. I kept putting it off and thinking oh I’ll cope etc but it got to the point where I felt like if I’ve got the means to change something that will make me feel so much happier in myself then why not 🙂 and so glad I did!
