Hi girls,
I had my pre op today… 4 weeks and I’ll have beautiful boobies!!
I was just wondering the Macom bra is worth the extra money? My nurse told me to just get a soft non wired sports bra but everyone on here seems to have Macom bras.
I want the best for my new boobies!
What do you recommend? Also I don’t know what size cup I will be so how do you know what size to buy?! Xxx
I was advised the Macon bras on my pre op apt with the nurse. I had my strapping off yesterday and she told me to put my sports bra on?! I only had my maxim with me at the time but when I got home I did put my sports bra on….omg I felt so much better!! I’m sure after a few days with the strapping off ill be ok with the Macon on but at the moment I NEED my sports bra! X
At my pre op the nurse told me that dr kazzazi dosnt like the macon and he recommends maltans ones. My nurse told me not to waste my money on one. But every surgeon as there pref. So I’ve gone with what my nurse told me xxxx
I wasnt really pushed either way but i have an asda one on and it fits lovely and comfertable i feel like its down to you whats compfy i havent tried the marcom on but im happy with my 8 pound asda one haha i also have 2 M&S ones for when swellong goes down i have a pick of mine on my photos add away to see 🙂 xx
Thank you lovelies!
I was advised to just get a non wired soft sports bra and have read really good thinks about the asda ones so maybe I’ll get them and then a more supportive one from Marks and Spencer for a bit later!
With the asda one, what size did you get?
Can anyone send me a link to the Asda bra which is reccomended?! I’ve been searching the Internet but had no luck so far!! Also how do you know which size to get?! 🙂 xox
Hey Naomi – I brought the asda and matalan ones and then in a last minute panic brought a Macom. I’ve worn my Macom every day since my op – I tried on the matalan and asda ones and they just didn’t feel comfy and I didn’t feel like I had enough support. Personal preference really- I would buy one – you can usually get them on here from girls selling them too xx
Where is your op at Naomi? Mine is 4 weeks away too! ? I’ve bought two of the asda ones since hearing so much good stuff about them on here! Personally I think they look comfier than a Macom too but suppose we will see! X
The asda ones are £8 each so if you buy 2 different siZes one should fit lol I only brought one and luckily it was the perfect fit. There is a big hype about the Macom and because it’s expensive I think it makes people think it’s the ”best’ but there must be a reason why the surgeons don’t even recommend them? I fell for the trap and brought one myself because I thought I better get the best bra post op but turns out it’s the worse lol (for me anyway) xx
My op is actually with Transform at London Riverside Hospital, such a long way for me to go! I live all the way at the bottom of Cornwall! My closest clinic is 4 hours away! Still, it’s all so so so worth it!
Thank you all so much for your advice ladies!!
I’M SO EXCITED!!! xxx
I swear by my Macom ones, comfort, stableness and compression! I am selling a Red Macom Bra 34 Band if you/anyone is interested! Xx
Ah thank you, I am a 36 though, have such a broad back! 🙁
I’ve ordered a Macom and got a couple of soft non wired bras from M&S, our little Asda didn’t have any and the next Asda is like an hour away (I live in the middle of nowhere!!)
I found that macom is the most supportive and my surgeon didn’t have a problem with them x
Macom all the way, definitely worth the money, I have 4 and I can’t live without them, supportive and sooooo comfy ??
