Has anyone used this as opposed to the signature one and is there a major difference? From what I can tell it’s made with a longer band so it shouldn’t rest on scars at all and it’s got a slightly lower neckline so less obvious in tops? Can’t really tell about the neckline on the photos as it looks the same as the signature one to me lol does it give a nice outline in tops and is it worth the extra money or should I just stick to the signature one? Thanks xx

Sorry I haven’t had to buy my yet , got my op is August but I’m going to go for the ultimate. I read better things about it and it sits in much better place so doesn’t rub on you x

I have the ultimate instead of signature 🙂 im 10 days PO and been using it (along with the M&S bra and HospitalBra) since day one. Surgeon chose to fit this one straight from surgery. Yes cleavage wise you can’t really tell the difference lol, I just like they’re thin straps and low enough to wear hidden under most tops. Best thing is the lower band which doesn’t rub against incisions at all – ive found this to be really helpful and no matter now much the m&s and HospitalBra are good I can’t wear them longer than 10/12 hours due to the pain I get under my boobs, I swap to the macom often cause of this (and thin straps)… also the macom bras material are awesome, which you tend to hate in the beginning but omg later on you’ll love it!

I recommend if you have any crease/under boob incisions to get ultimate, it’s worth it long run as weeks of having a bra over your insisions slows down their healing and causes you a lot of pain and irritation, especially when they remove dressings. If youre strapped for cash just get the signature, in terms of support it’ll do a similar job (just to point out the ultimate is a little more supportive, some hate this because they say it makes it more uncomfortable/tighter but my surgeon says the tighter the better as they arent meant for ‘comfort’ but for ‘compression’) and then get either an m&s or asda one for when macom is in the wash/when hand washing it xxxx

HI! I got the signature bras and one other non Macom bra. The nurse got me into my Macom straight after surgery and they’ve not been off since. I personally had a major problem with rib bruising and swelling and my upper abdomen/diaphragm area was tender and swollen from ? I think trapped air.
By about day 5-7 I had to unhook the bottom two clips as the bra was painful to breathe. Day 8 was amazing and most of my bloat went and now my Macom is perfect. If I’d had the longer bra I wonder whether I’d have struggled even more? X
