Ladies are post op bras quite stretchy? Not sure what size to get, I’ve asked to be a dd/e cup but worried if I pay out for a macom n it’s too big it won’t be supportive enough..anyone had any problems with theirs? Gonna get a macom a Royce & a sports bra plus how often did you change yours? Xx

I posted here asking about Macom’s a few days ago hun. I’m going for a 32dd/e too and I’ve got my op next week. I thought they looked pretty good even though they are a bit expensive. I was told to go with my current back size and you don’t need a cup size with the Macom ones. I have since been told by one of my surgeon’s (Dr Traynor) previous patients that he doesn’t like Macom bras as they are too restrictive. I was told to get a sports bra from Tesco or Asda. I spoke to my PC yesterday and she got hers from Primark. I’ve had a look and Primark do really good ones for less than £10 but unfortunately they didn’t have a 32e =o(. I need to get mine soon but I’m struggling! Debenhams is another place that i need to check! x

I got the Primark ones, they’re like stretchy crop tops with wide straps, £3 and are sized 8/10, 12/14, and 16/18. I’m a size 12 (was 34B) but bought the size 16/18 and I’m so glad I did. Got my strapping off today and its so comfy. You can step into them and pull them up too which is excellent as, trust me, you won’t want to reach up over your head!
    Good luck!!

Marks and Spencer have really good ones – I was really panicking about post surgery bras this weekend as my op is tomorrow. The best advice I can give is do the rice test! I bought 2 Primark sports bras, 2 marks and Spencer sports bras and 2 of the Asda comfort ones but I was still worried that they wouldn’t be suitable if I swelled to much / if the cup size or back was right. The rice test really helped. Weigh the number of grams of your implants in rice (425cc x 2 for me) and put the rice in to two sandwich bags or something similar. Put them in the bra’s you’ve bought and you’ll get a really good idea of if you have a enough room for swelling and if the cup size / back size is going to be big enough. You want them to be comfortable but not loose so you have enough support. Happy bra hunting hun! =o) xxx

Hi I had my op on monday and I’m wearing the marks and spencers zip up sports bra. I was a 32/34c and I got a 36e to help with swelling and it’s perfect , so comfy and easy to put on. I had 425cc fitted also just to give you an idea on size. X
