Medical report

I need a medical report from my docs before Thursday or surgery will be postponed 🙁 anyone had to get one how long did it take? Thanks in advance x

It varies depending on your docs, I’d phone them and explain your surgery is this week so needs to be done asap, hopefully they’ll do it before Thursday then. Good luck 🙂 x

It’s driving me mad rang my docs a few times thought I could finally chill an just wait for my surgery after meeting dr kazzazi yesterday then I got the dreaded call I need medical report bk by thurs even though there’s nothing wrong with me ever! All so Anoying! Docs keep saying it’s not urgent for them which is really nice to hear lol x

Does everyone need to get in touch with their doctor? I was under the impression MYA wrote to your doctor informing them of your planned surgery. I didn’t know it was down to us to get a report . xx

I had the same problem. I had to badger my doctors and tell them it’s going to cost me ££ to move my appt because of them and explained how much I’d just paid to have my op and didn’t really want to be paying out more . They faxed it over within hours. I’d go to your doctors and refuse to move til they fax it over chick xx Mya ask your doctors for a medical report but apparently lots of patients have the same problem xx

I had this problem aswell I got mya to fax the docs and them the docs faxd it back over was done in half hour 🙂 I did call in between to make sure hey was recieving and sending though lol xxx

@jessica2930 I was thinking same. I got told that mya would inform my doctors but that’s it. Do I need to get the report then or leave it as nothing has been said to me?? Xx

Do they request a medical report for everyone? Do I need to do anything?

I met my pc on sat and I’m going to see the surgeon in 2 weeks.

I’ve no idea, you need to be on the phone to MYA and the doctors first thing. You don’t want your surgery date being postponed because of this. Hope you get is sorted quickly. Another question I’ll be writing down for my pre op, the nurse is going to hate me haha xx

Very happy got my medic report back today only £15 too! 🙂 it says there are no contraindications so surgery will be going ahead! Taking it to mya now 11 days till surgery thanks for all your help girlies x
