Meeting your nurse

I’ve had my first consultation and then meeting my surgeon and next week is meeting my nurse? Then after that is my surgery. Can anyone tell me what to expect when meeting the nurse and what the appointment is for Xx

If its your pre op its just to run through all your history again. They will do your height and weight and take mrsa swabs. They may do bloods if the surgeon has asked for them. They will go through the size and pre and post op care. I wasnt in long.

Okay, I hope not bloods lol! Would they have told me before the appointment??? X

I was told on the day but she was very good snd it was over quick

I recently had my pre op and I was petrified of getting bloods done but I didn’t need them but doing, you only need bloods doing if they feel it’s relevant, so if you are really overweight/underweight or have high blood pressure etc… then they may need to take bloods but I know 2 other people that have gone through mya and they didn’t need bloods and neither did I xxx

Okay, good I shouldn’t have to have bloods done then Xx
