Monday 14th april 9.am, what time op??

My op is at preston on monday and i have told to be there for 9am so what time will i actually be going in for the op? Does any1 know and also after the op how long after can i go home?

Hi Amy,

I had my op at Preston on Tuesday, my admission time was 11.30. I had nurse come in and do paperwork, take blood pressure etc. Got my gown had a couple of doctors come in. Had my surgeon Mr Traynor come and draw on me at 13.45 and he sed I wud be going down in 40 mins, sure enough 2.25 and they came for me. So was 3 hours after my admission time.

Oh and I was an overnight stay, but I was eating to and toast bout 5 so wud of thort if I was a day case I wud have been allowed home bout 6/7

Also what type of sports bra do u need? Because i went in h&m today and they had ones with a bit of padding and some with no padding and they was some with low support and medium support and high support? What exactly do i need? Lol xx

I had an admission time of 9 am and didn’t go down until 1pm! x

I was admitted today at 9am but went down for surgery at 12:30 , it just depends. I know someone who had to wait 8 hours :0 xxx

I went in for 10 and went down to theatre just before 1 so Aprox 3 hour wait. I bet u can’t wait. I had my ba on Tuesday, xx

I paid for an overnight stay as I had no one that could stay with me at hotel the night as I live more than an hour away from the hospital.
