So I’ve developed Mondors Cord which is the inflammation of the veins just under the breast caused from tension in that area during surgery but takes a couple of weeks to show. It looks like a thick cord from lower breast then down a couple of inches. It’s resolves itself in a couple if weeks and only visible when I lean back so nothing major but I just thought I’d post about it so if anyone else gets it you don’t freak out like I did and think silicone is leaking out if the implant! So all good xx

Yes hun it takes a couple if weeks can be painful to touch but it doesn’t develop into further complications. I hadn’t come across it in my research and my PC hadn’t heard if it either so not very common. X

I had these from around 4-8 weeks post op. Could feel them all the way down through my stomach. It is a very strange sensation, and feel quite tender when you notice them at first, but they have completely gone now.
