Morning Boob! :(

Please tell me eventually it goes away?
I’m 6DPO and every morning I wake up in excruciating pain from being asleep, I can’t move at all for atleast 10mins. Only on my left side though, a searing stabbing pain, and it only happens when I wake up and try to move. How long does this last for?

I’m day 4.. I get this too. Like a burning, ripping searing pain where the incisions are. Think it’s the nerves and muscles waking back up. I Hope it goes soon X

I’m hoping it’s normal, because boy does it hurt! 🙁 I hope yours gets better too xx

I still get this at 8dpo but not as bad as at the start. think it’s also where your muscles have cramped up overnight where you’re trying to release the pressure from your chest in your sleep

I’m so glad to hear it’s normal and we all get some kind of let up soon hopefully! Would be nice to just be able to wake up without thinking about it x

I’m nearly 4 weeks po and in the mornings they still feel heavy as such for a few minutes, but not painful now . I asked if this was normal and nurse assured me that it was perfectly normal for quite a few weeks after surgery. Xx

That’s really useful to know, it’s all a waiting game x

Yeah I’m 5 weeks post op and I still have days we’re i feel sore and achy albeit not as bad as the early days I can’t wait till it all goes away mine still feel hard and tense up a lot .x

Hi Hun my morning boob didn’t fully go till just after the 6 week mark but every week got better xxx

Mine still seem high up too x

Thanks ladies! Seems I just have to be patient. It helps a lot knowing that it’s normal though x
