Most accurate bra measurement chart?

I’ve googled a few bra measurement charts and I even though I’m only 8 days po. Wanted to gauge roughly what I was.

Some I come out at 34b and other 32 g surely I can’t only be a b cup I’ll be gutted although I am happy with the size to look feel and fit my frame but a couple seem to say d.

Anyone know what’s the most accurate and do they get bigger with partials …obviously I’ve also got swelling at the moment!

difference between bust and band size

if its 1inch then its an A
2 inches B
3 inches C

and so on..
thats how i’ve always been taught as a rough guide:)

At the moment I measure 29 inches under bust and 35 inches around so by that guide I’d be about a dd? but some sites said 34 b and another said 32g!!! Confusing!

It is so confusing how its different with each shop. I think the best bet is to go to the shops and get fitted for each shop you want to buy bras from.

Its like shoe shops, a size 7 is different in john lewis to say an ASOS size 7. I think its the same with bras.

@Lizzie I was measured today in a couple of places and your way works perfectly I’m a 34e/f depending on bras and I’m 30 and 37 round bust xx

glad it works! thats the way i’ve always been told 🙂 it works for me! but I’m so little at the moment, I’m not sure there is any other size for me! haha
what size were you before/implants did you have?

I would love to get a correct measurement. La senza say im a 30D 😮 im more like a Bcup which is odd as the D does fit perfectly. x

they have like sister sizes don’t they like 26B is similar to a 24C etc?

im really confused on this too as I measure a 32in round the back, but in bra size I have always bought a 32 and that fits fine….yet online it says that I should buy a 36? I am measuring 35in around my boobs which I am also a little disappointed about but im only 2 weeks post op and my boobs are a lot better than wat I had before….yet I am confused still??xxx

thats 3 inches different so should be a 32C hun 🙂

I don’t get the sizing either. It’s different on every website! I measure 29 inches around my ribcage and 35 inches over my bust. Got measured in debenhams today (5 weeks post op – got the ok from the nurse today) and am a 34D 🙂

I’m the same as you Sarah..just got a 32d sports bra off eBay which fits but bit tight round the band…think 33 would be better for me but not sure you can get them!

But some sites are saying I’m a 34 b and others a 32 g….

Whatever I’m bigger than I was! 🙂

Honestly girls i would go and get measured. I went 3 weeks PO to Boux avenue, explained i was just giddy and she was happy to measure me! Came out at a 32FF which i still am now at 5 weeks post op 🙂 some girls change some down but honestly even bra shops dont measure with a tape anymore they just use bras as all are different and each shop you should be a different size 🙂 xxx

Well using the method about inch difference that would be around an E cup not sure on band though ?
