Hi, I’m looking for a breast uplift/enlargement and have an appointment with Mr Adamo on June 22nd at Nottingham. So far everything I’ve found about him has been positive so I’m quite excited. So, ladies who have already had surgery, what would you ask now that you didn’t ask before?

Does anyone know if Mr Adamo does breast enlargement at the Manchester clinic? If not, does anyone know which surgeons do work at the Manchester one?
I’ve got my 1st consultation on 13th June, and am looking to have the op done at the end of August (hopefully a bit sooner!!!)

Go back and try the implants on again, the clinic should have their own bra’s but you’ll need your own sports bra anyway so buy one in the size you would like to be.

I had my op last Wednesday with Mr Adamo and Im ssooooooo pleased… hes the best!!! He’s soo friendly and made me feel totally comfortable, and the results are amazing, good luck x

Can you see him once again? If u can borrow some bra from yr friend or buy a cheap one with the size you wanna be (more less)
or try the rice test maybe

Thanks for that. But you know what, he didn’t even give me a sports bra or top or anything to try! I did think it was a bit weird because he told me just to stuff the implant in my own regular bra which is only a 36B and it wasn’t really the right shape (it was normal type with an underwire and stuff) so it didn’t really hold the implant well or give me a realistic idea of what the size looks like under clothes. I did think this was odd because other places have provided you with a big sports bra so that you have a smooth silhouette and can see properly under your T shirt.

I am confused because I still don’t really know what to think about sizes etc!

I had my consulation with Mr Adamo and I took my sister’s bra with me but there was no need as he had one big sport bra that he gave me to try the implants.

I wore normal clothes and tried the bra while naked, then just put my own top (it was pink:) to see how it looks when I’m dressed.

Oh and er,

other places I have been asked to take a snug fitting white top with me to the surgeon consultations so that they can show you what different sized implants look like in a sports bra under the top….

Is it the same with MYA or will they provide you with something? Some ask you to take your own but some just give you a stretchy T-shirt to try that they have ready in the consultation room.

I only ask as I wear a lot of black and don’t even own a white, tight fitting top at present!!

Any advise would be much appreciated,

I have my BA with him next Wednesday! i cant wait wait im already counting down the sleeps ha!

Dr Adamo is amazing, he is so nice and ploite and explains everything to you that you need to know, he puts you at ease straight away and is always smiling :bigsmile:

Iv just come back from my consultation with Nadja, who is great by the way….She recommened Mr Adamo for the look i am going for, has anyone else been recommended him or even had your surgury done with him? Would you recommend him and also what was your scaring like?

How did it go? I have my consultation with Mr Adamo this evening and I am nervous about meeting him since I have been to other surgeons from other companies before who have been really cold and too busy to properly answer questions.

I had the worst experience with Transform. The surgeon- Dr Nathan, was so awful I ended up running out crying. People often don’t believe me when I tell them how he actually asked me point blank, in the consultation- “Why do you want to have implants? So that you can flash your breasts to all the men?” and then he sat there in the room (There was no chaperone or anything) and started flirting with some ‘secretary’ of his or something on the phone- talking about ‘massages after work’ and he also left me in the room on my own with the door open after marking up my breasts with surgical pen (My consultation was for a lift and BA combined) and I had no top on. I felt so humiliated I have been scared of trying again since but I am so unhappy with my breasts at the moment that I can’t let the whole idea slide.

I have read good things about Mr Adamo’s work but can you tell me perhaps, what his nature and personality is like? Obviously I do want someone honest and realistic, but not ruthless and harsh like that other idiot.

Hi Charlie,
I have my surgery booked for the 27th of May with Mr Adamo. Im a 34B/C and am having 525cc implants like MYA2009… so I will definatley keep you posted on how it goes.
He was really confident on stressing that he is all about the “natural look” and even though Im going quiet big, he assured me I’d carry it off, as i’ve got really thick hips and a huge bum! But he’ll always make you look natural according to your shape.
I’ve been really pleased and comfortable with him so far, but will update you on the final result x

I said to nadja that i wanted as natural as possible, i dont want high profile and i wanted to keep as much of my natural shape as possible…She said that Mr Adamo likes the natural look and recommended him, Im going to see him on may 21st.

I had Mr Adamo – he was brill with me, took lots of time and listened to everything I said yet was also realistic – I was about a 32/34b and had 525cc overs high profile, now a 32ff, really pleased with the results and couldn’t recommend him enough! My scars are teeny, and I am now 10 weeks post op.

Oh that’s interesting that they recommended him by the look you wanted! Did you say whether you wanted under or over the muscle or are you going to leave that to surgeon??

:confused::confused:i had my surgery with him, everyone says hes great but hes just ok, but when it comes to the scarring he is very neat,what kind of look are u going 4 charlie?
