Ok so I am 3 days post op and I am completely amazed at my new boobs! I was absolutely petrified Friday morning, my admission time was 10am and the nerves really had set in in the car on the way. I waited just a little while, a couple of hours but everyone was really nice, chatty and friendly and made both me and my partner feel very much at ease. When I was taken to theatre I quite simply told the nurse that I was sh*tting myself, she found this hilarious and was like “oh well that’s informal” haha. She was absolutely wonderful with me as was the additional doctor, as he was putting me to sleep he was telling me I was Lovely, beautiful and he was going to look after me and he loved that I was still smiling…then I was under…coming around was very strange, this was my first time under General. I kept forgetting to breath on my own so my Partner, right by my side was encouraged to keep talking to me and make me take deep breaths as stats would drop. Everything was absolutely fine though and I was in no pain at all. It did take me quite a while to come fully round and even once I had I was very light headed and unsteady on my feet.
I had 350cc in both breast although this was only decided on the table as myself and Mr Mahdi had discussed potentially different sized implants such as one 350cc and one 375cc but I agreed that he would make the right call for me on the day. Mr Mahdi has been so honest, upfront and easy to talk to through out all of this and he is absolutely amazing at what he does.
Back in consultation in Liverpool he was taking measurements and pictures and coming up with his amazing ideas and he said to me “whatever i do it will be an improvement” and if im complerely honest i thought wow, mine must be so bad they’re not going to be how I want them…..how wrong I was to think like that!!! I am so completely happy with Mr Mahdi’s work. And when he came to see me after surgery he told me they are beautiful and it had gone very well. He wasn’t kidding!!! So I had an uplift of about 5cm on one breast and 7cm on the other I had the 350cc high profile implants and Mr Mahdi moved muscle to create such a smooth natural look.. I can’t thank Mya and Mr Mahdi enough I really can’t. This has changed my life more than anyone will ever understand. I am 29 years old and I was living with a chest of what I used to say an 80 year old woman. I have been so depressed, held back and low in self esteem for 7 years now since my first child and in just 3 hours Mr Mahdi has changed my life.
I’ve been a little shakey and spaced out if I’m on my feet to long but apart from that all is amazing and I’m just resting now and healing well!
Louise they look amazing! Hope the healing goes well! My boobs look similar to your pre-op photo, thank you for sharing your experience, can’t wait to get surgery one day
2 weeks on absolutely love them!!!!! Nipples a little swollen but healing amazingly!!!!
They look amazing Louise, I’m having my op on 23rd Feb, (should have been having Jan 11th ) but been cancelled because my platelets are really high, im having up lift and 250cc overs, are your overs? If mine look like yours I’ll be over the moon xxx
Hi Nicola! Thank you for your kind comment!!. Aww I bet you are really excited..who is your surgeon? As I had very little breast tissue Mr Mahdi moved muscle in my chest so that they were under. You can see on his drawings on me at the top of my breast where he was reconstructing the muscle to fit the implants under. I never expected them to be as good as they are as he was very honest and said there was little to work with but every day they are better and better. 100% the best decision for me. My self acceptance has come on so much and I feel like a woman again! Haha xxx
Hi Louise – I am having the same as you on the 16th how have you healed? I am so nervous what was your recovery like and are you happy with the size? I am going from a empty 32D to who knows what!!!! but having 350cc moderate plus dual plane xx
Hi Louise,
They look absolutely inreadable.
My boobs are as low as yours were if not lower and have been since I was 16/17 years old I am currently 20 and have been thinking of getting my done for the past 2 years but I have never known how much o would need or how painful and long the recovery is. I have always been so scared of surgery seen as I have never had any.
So if you would please help me with some info I would be very grateful.
I would love to know how much it would cos me rouglt for an uplift and how long and painful the recovery is.
Once again they looks amazing!!
Hi Caroline!
I was literally up and about the next day after surgery…everyonebis different and you know your body best and it will let you know if you are over doing it. I was doing shopping, light house work pretty much straight away. I had planned to have 2 weeks off work but took 3 instead but pain wise it was minimal, very manageable. My best advice would be do exactly as advised! I slept up right for 6 weeks and stayed in maximum support head for 6 weeks and still wear them now sometimes. I quit smoking roughly 2 months before surgery and increased protein in my diet to help with healing. Like I said everyone is different but I am more than happy with my healing and my size is perfect for my frame. I left it to the surgeon to make the call on size and I am very happy. Scarring is healing amazing and soon will be unoticable. Best thing I ever did!!!!!! Good luck!!!! X
