Thought I’d take the liberty…

For all you girls that are a few weeks post op…

Thought it could be fun and helpful!

What size were you pre op? 28D/DD and empty!

What size are you now? 30G

Type of implant? 385cc HP fascial unders (non-MYA patient, not seen them offered here)

How long did you go before you…

had a shower? Caved in and half body showered day 6 just to feel water down my skin, but otherwise still bathing till after my day 9 check

slept on your side? About 5 days. Whoops!

had sex? 1 day ?

stopped taking painkillers? Day 5

went back to work? Full time mum so day 4

wore a wired bra? Not yet

felt human again? Day 7

Do you wish you’d gone bigger? Went for the biggest I was offered and than happy with my results !

Any wise words? Listen to your surgeons advice about size, shape and under/over, they’ve done this many time before and are best placed to advise you. And enjoy your new boobs!!

Type of implant? 560cc hp overs (not mya patient)

How long did you go before ….

Had a shower? 48hrs ? Surgeons advise, love him for that ?

Slept on side? Tried to a bit, but struggle

Had sex? If Hubbie had his way, would be the same day lol but still yet to ?

Stopped taking painkillers? Day 5 for presciption drugs, but still taking paracetamol once a day due to spinal condition!

Went back to work? Have had help with my five children for two weeks, as they have special needs, so don’t want to get hurt X

Wore a wired bra? I’ve tried one on, but waiting for all clear

Felt human again? Probably 1 week, and then each week saw improvement

Any wise words? Take loads of photos, make sure you get help and listen to your body xx

I cant wait to fill it in myself haha! In tomorrow at 2 so excited xxx

How long ago? 19 days

Type of implant? 450 HP unders

How long did you go before ….

Had a shower? 16 days – had to have dressing reapplied today so another week of no showers now ?

Slept on side? Haven’t yet

Had sex? Day 9

Stopped taking painkillers? Day 2

Went back to work? Day 17

Wore a wired bra? havent yet

Felt human again? Probably a little after I stopped taking the pain killers as they were making me feel a bit woozy but probably a week to feel functional

Any wise words? If you can make the most of the rest time you have. Get a V pillow. Trust your surgeon knows what would be best for what you want to achieve. Don’t be shocked by questioning your decision in the first few days after your op it’s normal. Trust the process of recovery and be patient.
