My BA Story

Hi I had my BA at Highgate hospital 07/07/2009. Arrived at Highgate at 7.10am (the traffic was not that bad as we thought it would be) filled out a form and was asked what newspaper i wanted for this morning (opted for the sun as I am collecting the tokens) apologised to receptionist for ordering a common tabloid lol! The receptionist took me to my room. It was lovely! She showed me the call bell, light, television and bed controls! I started unpacking my things to make me feel cosy (mad I know but I wanted to unpack and keep me busy. Within 2 minutes Mr Chantarasak was in my room asking me if he could look at my chest, he then used a lovely shade of purple marker pen and drew in me! He took some before pictures and said

sounds like a very pleasant time!!! im extremely excited im booked for 5th august great to read someones trip as no others on here!!!

any tips or things you forgot that i should defo remember?

do they have dvd players in the rooms? and are they nice rooms/ bathroom?

congrats tinkerbelle! i had mine 2 days ago!
my chest feels soo tight aswell! im thinkin of putting bio oil on my boobs, cuz im a bit worried i might get stretch marks!
and how are ur nipples? mine are huge!! but starting to get the feeling back in my right one.

I had my ba on 14thjuly with MR Traynor and up to now i am soooo pleased with them i was a 32b and got 380cc parciel unders ,i am now wearing 34dd sports bra and i hope i they dont go down (hehe) Sara i dont think bio oil is a good thing to do yet but its up to you , are you pleased with the result ? and do you no how long it takes for the swelling too go down ? i dont think i have much.

I have no regrets up to now , but i feel like i am just waiting for something to go wrong as i am in no pain and all is too good to be true hehe .

you said your chest feels tight i think that has got to be the swelling ,and in a few days i should feel better .

I go back on the 21st to manchester for a check up so hope all is well let me know how yours are doing ,and think again about the bio oil until you see the nurse xx kerry

im glad i got it done, but at the mo my boobs arent looking very nice, which is normal! but theyre just so firm and pointy! i just want them to drop already.
okies i wont bother with the bio oil yet, or i might consult my pc..
my chest isnt actually that swollen either. i had 410cc overs and im wearing a 36D at the mo, but its a little big in the cup and small in the back! lol!
cant believe you’ve had no pain u lucky thing!! im in more discomfort than pain i suppose! but last night i had to take me bra off as it kept rubbing my wounds!
i wont know if im pleased with the result until after theyve dropped and softened! but so far i think im happy lol!

I did exactly the same! Last night i took my bra off as it really was hurting one of my incisions! So have taken it off and left it off cos its very sore
Mine are very firm too…rock solid in fact! lol
I can’t imagine having unders..owww!!

I bought a 34dd sports bra its a shock aborber and like yours it was digging in my side so i bought a cheap one from asda a post surgery one omg the differance it is soooooo much better i am going to wear a sports bra at night all the time as the implants are heavey , and i think i will help with sagging. and i am woundering how long they take to drop? i car,nt wait to get back to normal i must have spent hours on the net lol

hey mezza! its awful isnt it ive just taken mine off and boobs feel soo heavy! and soo tight! feels like my chest might explode lol! i decided to put the bio oil on in the end, cuz my skin looks extremely tight and i really dont want stretch marks. i made sure i missed out my dressings though! i just hope i heal okay!

well done tinkerbelle, congratulations. i have my second consultation in august. im havin my ba in october… the ONLY thing worrying me is the thing in the hand, and it being in there all night… makes me queezy thinking about it…. is it that bad? are u aware of it there? lol xx

I was not aware it was there and they were talking to me in theatre when it was inserted and I did not even realise! I had a major hot sweat over that bit!

Your be fine tell them thats the bit your dreading and they will put you at ease xx
