Thought i’d post my ba story for you all 🙂
Soooo I was originally booked with Dr Traynor but that got cancelled a few weeks before my booked op date because the hospital changed the dates :(! So I went with Dr Kazzazi because I had booked specific annual leave off and the op had to be in them dates.
My BA was 2 weeks ago with Dr Kazzazi at Park Hill hospital In Doncaster. I started as a 32b and wanted to be around DD! Dr Kazzazi said due to my small frame, the biggest he’d go was a 340cc in my left and 345cc in my right. I trusted him and his work so I agreed. 2 days before my op, my pc called me and said I had to pay extra because they were the soft touch implants and I’d only paid for the cui. I couldn’t be dealing with the stress 2 days before my op so I paid the difference.
On the actual day I was sooooooo scared and I cried even if someone looked at me. The hospital room was clean and nice. I had my partner with me who was doing his best to keep me calm. The nurses were lovely n took my blood pressure and gave me some stockings and paper pants. My admission time was 10.30am.
Dr Kazzazi Came in an hour before my op and drew on me and took some pics. Then at 3pm, they came to get me. I started crying again and the nurse did her best to calm me down. I walked to theatre and lay down on the bed, the staff were lovely and they had me laughing and joking. The cannula went in and it didn’t really hurt that much. The anaesthetic went in and the last thing I remember saying is omg my legs feel weird, and then bam, I was out like a light haha. I woke up and my partner was there staring at me. I didn’t have a clue what was going on. My blood pressure went quite low so he tried to give me some water but I couldn’t keep anything down. He was so worried, poor thing.
I was a daycase but I had to stay the night because I wasn’t well. I had to have a drip and was nil by mouth. My partner went home around 10ish because he wasn’t allowed to stay. I drifted in and out of sleep. Woke up in the morning and was in quite bait of pain. I really needed the loo, I asked the nurse to help and she said, you can get up, there’s nothing wrong with your arms and she left the room. I had to wait for the breakfast lady to tilt my bed up so I could get up easier. That night nurse was mean :(.
My recovery was quite slow and I’m only just starting to feel better. I had my strapping off after a week and the nurse said I was healing well :)!
Took me a while to feel comfy enough to stretch my arms but after 2 weeks, I’m just about back to normal 🙂
I’m just getting slight twinges but everyday I feel better and better. I’m coming off the pain killers now and I’m loving my new boobs. They already look so good. Considering there overs, they don’t look that fake.
Dr Kazzazi was amazing, he knows his stuff and the scars are tiny already.
The aftercare hasn’t been that great… Haven’t really heard from my PC since the op. the nurse was fab though :)!
Yeyyyyyyyy new boobies!!!!!! xxx
I was abit annoyed about my hospital as well and aftercare has been crap! Get my stitches out tomoro! Yayyyyy xxx
The day nurses were really nice but that night nurse was horrible. I’m going to out a complaint in. I struggled so much getting out of bed in the morning :(! The bed remote thingy was at the bottom of the bed. How was I supposed to reach it? My PC has been ok pre op but not post op! It’s a shame because I feel like I don’t know what I’m supposed to do with these new boobies haha
Yeyyyyy! Let us know how it goes 🙂
Xxx

I’ve seen a lot of the ladies on here say that! Roll on march I can’t wait!!! 6 months to go!!! The less I think about it the faster it goes.. I just want it to be my turn 🙁 defo worth the wait xx
I didn’t believe it at first but I think it’s true! The time will fly by and before you know it, it will be your turn :)! I waited over a year and a half and its 100% worth the wait :)!
Are you having overs or unders? xx
How come u had to wait so long? Saving? And unders 🙂 x
Yeah I was saving and I wasn’t well. I had a cyst and was under investigation at the hospital so I had to wait until I got the all clear xxx
Ahhh bless u babe.. Are u from the nottingham area? Xx
Yhh thought so y I asked.. Clinics moved now have u been to the new one yet?xx
On my first meeting, they sent me to the Malvern rd clinic by accident but it had closed. I sat outside for 40minutes waiting for some1 to open the gate. But the building was empty haha! They apologised though and gave me the right address. The new clinic is nice. Be careful where you park because there’s a company above mya and if you park in their space, they could clamp your car. xx
Omg!! Lol!! Them gates r scary!! Where abouts is the new one? Is it somewhere near clarendon college? Xx
I know! I didn’t even know what button to press. It’s right in the city centre. I drove down using my sat nav. I’m not sure about the college? Are you driving down? It’s walkable from the city centre! It’s around a 10 minute walk from the Victoria centre 🙂 xx
When I go my bf will take me.. I’m still doing my lessons.. And ok that’s not too bad then.. Is it on mansfield rd xx
No it’s on Clarendon street. As you drive down it, it’s towards the bottom on your right. I drove past it about 3 times the first time haha xx
Okk no worries just thought I’d ask someone that’s actually been there as don’t show up very clearly on the map thing I won’t be going there until Jan time anyway so got plenty of time lol xx
Yeah, you’ve got lots of time yet :)! It’l go super fast though xx
It berra do! 😉 x
Yeah I have a few complaints.. I feel abit like now they have the money their not to bothered about making me feel at home? :/ oh well lol xx
I feel exactly the same! I felt as if as soon as they had the money, i did’t exist! I dont know what im supposed to do with my new boobies! All the info ive got, has been off this forum! I feel mega disappointed 🙁 xx
Don’t they give u an aftercare pack? X
I wasn’t really impressed with the nurses either. When I got wheeled back to room I said I was hungry and she was like hungry? You can’t have anything yet coz you’ve just had anesthetic, you will have to have tea and biscuits first and off she went. Obviously you would think she would of then brought me something so 2 hours later I’m still waiting. I had to buzz the nurse to go the loo and another one came in and was like have you eaten yet? And I was like no. 30 mins later I got brought a sandwich and had to struggle with the table and covers. I came around about 11am and wasnt given anything to eat til 3.30pm. For private care I wasn’t impressed xx
Hi Liz, the night nurse was so nasty. They bought me dry toast and cold coffee :(, I couldn’t keep it down but they didn’t offer me anything else! I needed something softer than toast because my mouth was so dry! I held my wee in all night and in the morning until the breakfast lady came in :@! I was so peed off because I paid for private care which I didn’t get! I’m not that impressed with Mya’s aftercare! All the info i know if from the net or this forum xx
Yeah that’s bad esp when you were there all night. I rang the buzzer a couple of times to go the loo coz they told me not to go without someone there coz of the anaesthetic , incase I fell etc but it seemed like I was putting them out each time i buzzed them so in the end I just got up myself which was a struggle with the aching and carrying them horrible drains around. I actually think I was just forgotten about to be honest. I paid the full amount too for just a daycase. I was impressed with the surgeon but not the private hospital esp paying all that money out.
