Hi ladies,
I just wanted to share my whole surgery day with you all as I know a lot of you are still pre op and probably really intrigued and a bit nervous about your big day!… My admission time was 8am at Highgate hospital on Tues 26th March, I got there with my sister at around 7.45am, after filling out a couple of forms I was taken to my private oom (with en suite and a TV! Win!) .. The nurse came to visit me not long after and went through a few standard questions, she took a urine sample, blood pressure etc.. Put me in my gown! She was really sweet :).. The next visit I had was from my surgeon, Dr chantarasak… He marked me up ready for surgery. I asked if I was his first patient of the day and he said no, he had 3 patients already! He was not sure what order he was going to operate on us yet…. At this stage I was still pretty calm and relaxed, it just all seemed so far away!
At around 10am a nurse came to my room to take me down to theatre, this is when I realised it was actually happening!… When I got to theatre I was really quite nervous, this was th first time I was going to have any sort of op! The anatheisist could tell I was nervous so was distracting me by asking what I done for a living etc.. Whilst they done the final prep.
After being taken in to the surgery room I was injected with some fluids (dont worry doesnt hurt) then I was given an oxygen mask and they told me to take a few deep breathes as they give me the GA.
Next thing I knew I was waking up, there was a nurse in my face saying ‘your operation is over now Elif, were taking you up to your room’. I was shaking quite a bit at this stage, the nurse said not to worry as it was just the GA wearing off. At the back of my mind I was just thinking ‘oh my god I have boobs!’.
Back in my room (around 11.30am), the shakes wore off after 10 minutes. The nurse came to check on me every 20 minutes or so. I was given some tea and toast after her first check and some lunch a lil later. I was in no pain at all! My chest felt a little tight and I was still a little drowsy but no pain, I was amazed!
I was dismissed around 4pm and given some pain killers and antibiotics. I took the pain killers regularly for the first few days as a pre-caution. I was told I could take the bandages off and put my medical bra on in the morning.
Im now 6 days post op and I am still shocked at how pain free it has all been. The only annoyance about the whole thing is having to sleep upright, because I am a side sleeper! I have my one week post op appointment tomorrow 🙂
Incase you were wondering I started with a tiny A cup, i had 375cc extra high profile overs and I am really happy with the results so far! They are exactly what I asked for (although I cant help think I could have gone a bit bigger!)… Add me as a friend if you like and I will try to get some pics up soon.
Thanks for reading girls xxx
Great story Elif, glad you had a lovely experience. I’m all set for mine tomorrow 🙂 xxx
Aww good luck my lovely, its all so exciting isnt it! What size you going for? Hope it all goes well xxx
Thank you 🙂 Im going for 365 TSF overs. I flit between worrying they’ll be too big and then wanting them to be bigger – so confusing lol xx
I was exactly the same! Couldnt make up my mind, I wanted to be a full C/small D, I think I’ve probably acheived that but its hard to tell at this stage. I couldn’t decide between the 375cc and 400cc (eventho theres not much difference tbh!). I then decided its a lot easier to make your boobs look bigger then smaller (with padded bras etc..) so went for the smaller size xx
glad ur happy with ur new boobies i had my op 28th march so 4 days post op now pain free too just tightness mainly as i was a small 32a i had mr t at first trust in preston they were amazin he gave me 325 overs so i would be a full c cup small d xx
