Well, it couldn’t have gone better. I arrived on time for my admission time and was immediately taken to my room by the lovely ward manager. About 45 mins later the anaesthetist came to see me and explained what would happen and told me I was third on the list an would go down about 12.
Then about half hour after that mr schiavone came to see me, took some pics and drew all over me.
Half hour after that a lovely nurse came to check my blood pressure temp etc and have me some stockings. Then about 10 mins after that two nurse came to take me down to theatre.
I lay down on the trolley, the anesthetist put in the cannula and explained he was going to put a little bit of the sleepy stuff in – well that was it, my head span a little, like being drunk and I don’t remember anything else!
I woke up I recovery at about 2pm I had started to dream so I think I had came round but stayed a sleep. I was so groggy drifting in and out of sleep and was quite cold so they put a blanket on and took me back to my room.
The next two hours were probably the worst as I couldn’t move. It’s not a pain but very achey so I couldn’t get in a comfy position so I just kept napping.
Another wonderful nurse kept comin in every half hour or so to check my bp.
I had some tablets about 4pm and started to feel better, I wasn’t sleepy so much and after a cuppa and some chocolate felt loads better ha ha!
Mr schiavone came to check me before he left.
I had to wait until 8pm when they took the drains out but I already noticed how much better I felt.
And no strapping! Just coverings on my incisions and my sports bra 🙂

All in all I am soooo pleased how it all went. Everyone at the hospital was fantastic and so far no real pain just uncomfortable.

I will post some pics as soon as I can but I am already pleased with the results and can’t wait to see how they settle. X

Really? What are your choices again hun? Im also still undecided whether to have overs or unders cos of the whole rippling and stretch mark malarkey, so hopefully I can thoroughly go through my worries with Dr Traynor on the day xx

Poor Mr Traynor..he is going to have his hands full with us two ha ha. Im 34a at the mo and looking at 385 or 415cc. Scared of being too big but scared of being too small aswell!! The rippling thing is a bit scary as seem like its happened to a lot of girls on here lately but I have already been back to see him to discuss the under/over situation and he much prefers overs for a natural look. Lets see what he says on the day. Have you got everything together yet? Li-m sorry for hijacking your thread xx

haha, definitely! I am exactly the same as you but I think my pc has ordered 415cc for me, cos she said that there isn’t much difference in the two and all the girls here always say that they wish that they gone for the biggest size offered. Hopefully it is the right choice. I’ve got my bra and stuff, but still need my V pillow for the day 🙂 Preston First Trust is only half an hour away from my house, which isn’t too bad. Will be rocking in with my Onesie as its a zip up and comfiest thing I own. Are you travelling far on the day?xx

Shelly Just something to consider regarding the rippling. Soft touchs are less likely to ripple than responsive but they’re a teeny bit more expensive and firmer xx

Hi Sophie. Are the soft touch the ones that are £4599? Cos I have gone for the one with the lifetime guarantee and the one with the most layers on something on them or something. Haha, how clueless do I sound. How is your recovery process going? I do hope mine won’t be as bad cos I know some of the girls here have suffered a lot 🙁 xx

The facilities were great. There was a shelf/desk area in my room where my hubby set up his laptop and did a bit of work. There is a day room with coffee machine and there is a supermarket round the corner. My hubby nipped out for a bite to eat while I was under and had magazines and chocolate for me when I got back. There is also a telly in your room so he could stay in your room while you are in surgery. Everyone is really friendly and helpful, so your hubby will be absolutely fine. You will probably only be gone about an hour and half 🙂 x

If your worried about being too big go with 385 and not the 415s. I’m so glad I didn’t go with the biggest (415) I’m currently in a 32ddd in Victoria’s Secret and an e elsewhere as that is their biggest size in a 32. You can always dress them up if you want to look bigger. You need to decide what would be your worst case scenario, too big or too small? Mine was being too big, hence the 385s.

Hi Charlotte, I ‘m finding recovery all right actually. Not really had any pain, unless I move a bit quick, and I find if I keep moving I don’t ache so much. The majority of the swelling should go Down In the first two weeks I believe.
How are you finding it? Xx

Hi Scarlett, yeah that’s fine and I am happy to answer any questions 🙂 I have pics, I just need to get them off my camera and uploaded. My recovery is going well so far. I think I have the right balance of resting and keeping moving.
Will keep you posted on how things go over the next couple of weeks x

Thank you! And yes well done keep that balance. Rest up and look forward to hearing more soon! 🙂
