Hello girls, I am 9 months post op and thought I would share my journey, I know how much this forum helped me up to my operation day and for the weeks after. So… I had my op on the 2nd October 2017, my surgeon was Mr Mounir and I had 350cc UHP, this was the biggest size I was offered. Mr Mounir always told me he could never give me a cleavage as my boobs were far apart to begin with, he said he can only make them bigger, which I understood but I wanted this for SO long so I accepted this and went ahead with the surgery, he was lovely, very understanding and always made me feel very comfortable when I seen him. Op day quickly came round and I was the second person of the day to go under the knife! My admission time was 8am and I think I went for my op around 10am and I was back at my room at 12pm, the operation itself only lasted 30 minutes according to the nurses, I couldn’t believe it! Coming round from the anaesthetic I felt completely fine, just hungry and sleepy, I was given a sandwich, cup of tea and orange juice and was monitored for a couple hours then I left the hospital at 2pm. My first night was spent in the premier inn nearby and I was fine, I ate, watching plenty tv then went to sleep. I got home the next day and I can honestly say I wasn’t in pain, its hard describe that its more of an ache than an actual pain, the only thing that bothered me was no being able to use my arms very well as lifting anything at all ached. I had a lot of support from my boyfriend who spent the 2 weeks with me. All I can say is make sure you take all of your anitbiotics and pain killers as they are a god send and really do help. 2 weeks went by and i was back at work, I did suffer from a very sore back but I think this was due to sleeping upright. Then I was struck with an infection in my incision, I rang the 24hr doctor with MYA who confirmed over photos that it definitely was an infection and I seen my local nurse who re dressed and gave me a course of antibiotics, unfortunately due to this infection I do believe it has affected my scar massively as its not neat and quite thick but please don’t let this put you off! Now 9 months later I am feeling much more confident when wearing clothes and bikinis as this is something I have always dreamed of, the only thing I can fault is my scar and the fact I asked for natural and they are VERY natural, looking at them now I wish I had gone for a more fake look, but who knows maybe that wouldn’t have made them look any different. I do have 2 different sized boobs but Mr Mounir said he tried different sized implants and it looked ridiculous. I know I am the most panicked person ever and every pain I got down the line I worried but it is all part of the settling process, to this day I do still get little niggly pains but I’m sure its nothing serious and I will be seeing Mr Mounir again soon for my 12 month check up. All I can say is, if you’re thinking about getting a boob job, go for it! Don’t let the operation itself put you off or the thought of the pain as its honestly not as bad as you think and its not permanent! I have attached a few photos of my before and afters and pictures straight after my operation so you can see the boobs don’t stay massive and wonky forever, I know I have 2 different sized boobs so they will never be symmetrical but I am happy, just wish I had a big cleavage but thats my own bodies fault.
Oh and I also forgot to say the most recent picture on here was 7 months ago so they have probably changed again but I haven’t taken any photos
He’s lined up you your tattoo nicely 🙂
I’m watching my side tattoo cause it’s now a bit off but hoping done swelling will go down & it won’t look so wonky in a bit
@magnumme Yeah that was one thing I was worried about if it would affect my tattoo but it’s still in line so all is good! X
@sophieweir boobs like great & tattoo too chick
Really going mine will even out … Only been 2 weeks tho so I need to wait a bit
Hoping*
@magnumme awww thank you! I’m sure it will even out, it’s crazy how much they change, I don’t even feel like I’ve had mine done now xx
@sophieweir my left breast is most swollen so have to keep telling myself to calm down it’s only two weeks & guess technically two separate surgeries that will heal at different times he he he
This is so helpful! Thank you. Can i ask what type of implants you had?
@magnunme yeah my right one was noticeabley bigger for a while after surgery but now its back to normal and is the smaller boob as it always was haha x
@redtorz30 I had round ultra high profile, just because my frame is so petite Mr Mounir said any other profile wouldn’t look right x
Already not as wonky as it was right at the start but hoping it lines up a little more still
