My boob journey :) xxx

Hey girls would just like to share my story,as I found it so helpful reading others on the forum 🙂 so here goes :). The reason for my boob job was due to my boyish frame Im very slim and whilst I did have something before (32 flat b) I just didn’t feel confident in my body and was eager to have those killer curves all girls want 🙂 I went to the MYA clinic in Bristol,the staff were all lovely,my pc was Faye however I only saw her once and spoke by phone more so instead!I found the most helpful person was the nurse who was able to provide me all the answers I needed!I only saw Dr Marcellino as a surgeon but felt confident in him to do my surgery so picked him! he originally said to me 325/350/375 HP overs but ,after reading the forum more and seeing how some girls wished they went that bit bigger I felt that wasn’t big enough for me!so I had a 2nd consultation with him and he agreed 400/425/450 instead to choose on the day!In terms of prepping for the op I did try and maintain a healthy appetite,stopped drinking (not a big drinker though) and started using Arnica 5 days pre op etc!my only down flaw is smoking which I just couldn’t stop although on the day I didn’t smoke!i had to get my op rescheduled due to an tooth infection which was annoying but I did have enough time off for it to be ok!So on the 30th April i attended the Fitzroy clinic,i was 2 hours late due to very bad traffic and was so worked up that they might cancel it but all was well!I arrived at 12 shown to my room and got prepared!Dr Marcillino came in and measured me up and even though he said to me 400cc would be suited I was admanant on 450cc which he accepted!After being seen by nurses etc i was taking in at 1:30 and put to sleep straight away and then woke up with boobs 🙂 🙂 I felt pretty high and couldn’t feel anything after,my blood pressure was pretty low though so was kept in til about 7pm to which they said I could go home!i can’t fault the nurses there they were all so friendly!i was only a day case from Bristol so good near 3hour journey home which im glad I still didn’t stay overnight or at an hotel as it saved expense and I felt pretty ok tbf to do so I just used a pillow in front for the way home!im 6days PO now,the first few days were agony it does hurt girls so I did keep up with my meds for 5 days setting alarms for regular taking!you can’t really do much but just sit there so make sure you are all prepared in terms of v pillow,snacks,magazines etc!the strapping was extremely tight it’s just so uncomftable and sleeping upright (im a front sleeper) is just awful but you can manage just gives you broken sleep and a v dead bum!you do feel very very bloated after so be prepared for that it does make you feel quite sicky a lot and def don’t push it in terms of stretching etc get someone to help as much as you can!in hindsight of all that I think by day 5 iv been feeling so much better I can do a lot more things and even back to driving (carefully though) although stretching etc or lifting is still a no go as the incesion area is still very tender and the sports bras are just so tight around that area with boobs still being sore but im coping!your nipples feel so numb as well first few days but starting to get sensation again!i did stupidly try have a sip of alcohol last night due to an friends birthday which made me feel v sick so I would avoid any of that for a few weeks as advised!Iv had my strapping off today which is a relief but due to one incesion still not properly healed (pretty normal) I can’t have a shower yet still so just hairy and smelly atm haha with the baby wipes!in terms boobs I love them already it’s really weird they look so big naked yet with clothes/sports bra on people have said to me they can’t even tell!i know this is so long but if anyone has questions please feel free to ask and here’s a before and after pic!still going to take a while for them to settle of course but I haven’t regretted it one bit and know this is all going to be worth it it is manageable 🙂 good luck girls xxxx

So nice to read your story as I am about the Sam stats as you and having 450cc with Mr marcellino. I’m so excited. I’m a smoker too. I’m going to try and stop 1-2 weeks before. Did Mr marcellino say anything to you about smoking as I have read on here that he won’t operate on smokers. But you have just proved that wrong. Your boobs look fab 🙂 happy healing Xx

Hey Kirsty not sure how to tag so hope you see this ha! 🙂 no he didn’t say anything about smoking to me i think those questions are just more so asked by the nurse if anything!but def do try and stop if you can hun I wish I did but quite a heavy smoker and it stressed me out trying so just tried to keep every other aspect of my health in tact and not on the day especially!good luck with your op and make sure you put some piccys and story up,it’s so worth it hun 🙂 xxxx

Hey Kirsty – Im having my Op with Marcellino next Friday the 15th! I am really nervous, again same as you I am coming from Bristol to London my admission time is 7am EEEK, Im going to have to leave at like 4am! Few questions for you – Does he use drains? If so what are they like as I am not a lover.
I am currently a 34B and as I have one boob bigger than other I am having 375 Overs and 400s.

Hey Charlie not long to go at all,how exciting 🙂 just bare in mind the traffic hun the day I went was ridiculous in itself we lit left at 5am and didn’t get there til 12 :/ im sure yours won’t be as silly as that cus part of the motorway was cut off etc but just keep in mind rush hour and that London gets v busy in itself!!as for drains yeah he did use them but tbh I couldn’t even feel them due to feeling so high,couldn’t feel anything tbh even when they took them out you can’t feel it hun so don’t worry on that at all I assure you the first day of op is pretty painless just groggy 🙂 !good luck with your op and new boobies 🙂 xxxx

Hey Holly, Yes i no its scary being just a week away! I remember booking it in February and thinking ohh god i got ages! You left Bristol at 5am and arrived there at 12!!!!! Whaattttt?
Thats crazy! Yes thanks – I just want it done now! 😀
Another girl on here said if you ask Marcellino not to use the drains he wont? But thats worrying in itself, because im sure its to drain the fluid.

Hiii 🙂 I’m due to have either 400cc/425cc or 425cc/450cc next month, what size are you after having 450 if you don’t mind me asking? Xx

Hey hun I’m not sure yet as I’m still quite swollen but I’m looking at a dd at least i reckon!glad I didn’t go any smaller so if in doubt get the biggest option hun that’s what they always say 😛 xxx
