My exeperience (410cc from 34b DrSingh) and 7day post op Pics Up! :)

In a bit of a rush so excuse my rambling but i just uploaded some pics that i took on day7 post op!

i suffered from EXTEREMLY bad swelling (well i think it was extremely bad) i was 8st 6llbs before the op then after the op on day4 i was swollen all over my face legs ankles and hands and my stomach honest to god looked like i was 5 months pregnant so i weighed myself and I was 9st 10llbs; so i had gained 1 stone and 4llbs in 4days so I literally cried my eyes out everyday post op until the 5th day when i spoke to the nurse and she told me i could have my bandages off early.On a brighter note I wasn’t crying because i was in pain i just felt really uncomfortable and sore, i was sleep deprived and the bandages were hell on earth and too tight. The whole 5days i literally felt like poo to be honest and was very depressed. Also i had worked sooo hard all this year before I even new i was having the operation to loose weight because 2012 i used to be really short and fat (im 4ft 11 and i was 10st) so when i randomly gained back 1stone 4llbs after the op and was closer to my old weight than my new lighter weight that didnt help at all and made me feel even more depressed.
Day 6 I had my bandages off and everything has just been getting better and better from then on! Im now 12days post op gone down to 8st 10 (only a few more pounds heavier than my pre op 8st 6 weight; thanks to these water retention pills i bought from superdrug) and im soooo happy and i love my boobs (although they are small but look bigger in pictures and are not even near as big as i wanted) but i cant complain because they would have been smaller if I hadnt had Dr Singh because every other surgeon i saw would not give me bigger than 360cc and even Dr Singh refused to give me bigger than 410cc ( i wanted 470-500cc).
Overall i would say for my experience that the first 2days are easy peasy the people at highgate are wonderful i was in moderate pain (3/10), then suddenly from day3-day6 i was in hell then day6 onward everyday has just got easier and easier last night i even slept on my side and im driviing all over the place again like normal.
Cuurently only downside is i want to wear a bra now and go to the gym but the nurse said i have to wait until my 3rd week then i can do extremely light exercise like squats and walk for an hour on the treadmill so i will definitely be starting that from next Wednesday. Also my friend who had surgery a year ago (500cc) with a different company was told that from week 3 she could wear a bra without an underwire during the day and a sports bra at night and her boobs turned out fine so i think ill do the same but only twice a week on the evenings i work and have to wear a low cut tank top

hi chick, glad every day is gettin better for you! day 3 was the worse for me too! just thought i was dying lol… im suprised your sleeping on ur side though, my nurse said i have to sleep on my back until i’v had my 6 weeks check with the surgeon ( not propped up though just on my back still)
and dont even worry about our weight at all! u have a lovely figure and nice new boobies to go with 🙂 happy healing xxxx

@aprile i will never ever forget day3-6 it was sooo horrible and the days felt so slow! i remember coming on here and seeing you were in pain and thinking at least its not just me. Thank you babe i really love them now and thankfully im not as swollen anymore but before the pills i took even my face was puffy from the weightgain lol Saw you’d written your still not healing well i hope it gets better for you because i know how bad it is xxx

Hi kelis ,do u mind if I add u ? I’m having my ba done Wednesday .im not too worried about the op just worried about the recovery and pain .i have my work Xmas party 17 days post op so hope I don’t swell too much .which water retention tablets did u get Hun ? Glad I are feeling better .xxx

Hi. Hope you dont mind the add. Glad you are healing well. I m 11 days post op and finding sports bra very uncomfortable. Not sure if its the wrong size or what but so uneasy. Looking forward to feel normal again. Xx

Yh sure @sarahh i started taking “HRI water balance tablets” they’re from superdrug in a blue box with yellow writing. They haven’t really got much of a name brand on them so not sure they just say HRI and say that they’re for water retention and bloating but i asked at the superdrug pharmacy and that’s what she gave me. I bought them on Day 6 after having my bandages off because the swelling was sooo bad and wasn’t budging at all even thoughi was going toilet and drinking water nd my mum had surgery 4weeks before me and is still swallon so i was determined not to be like that so i went out on a mission for pills and bought another set of pills from superdrug they’re for period bloating and went to Holland and Barrats but they’re swelling pills were sold out so i bought some drink medicine thing called lactoluse. But In the end I only had the HRI tablets because i tried them first on the same evening i bought them and the next day the swelling had gone down alot but not completely so i kept taking them until day 10 and now 12days post op im back to normal xx

Aww that’s great to hear the swelling gone down loads .aww ive got them tablets the hri ones : ) I take them when feeling bloated .id better pop to shops tomorrow to stock up as was hoping to wear a body con dress for party and no good if look 6 mth pregnant lol .thanks for the advise Hun xxx

thank u kelis, i’v got my plan, to keep my plasters on until the 6 weeks check ( well keep changing them but to always have plasters on) and im gonna try annd stop messing with them and obsessing in the mirror lol. xxx

Is it ok to add you? I’ve just been to see Mr Singh today trying to decide on sizes and hopefully book for feb x
