Hi There,
Just thought I would share my experience so far with Mya.
I have wanted a BA since I was about 16 (now 23) has my boobs were always on the small side, 32B. I finally got the courage and went down for my consultation in Newcastle at the beginning of the year. On the day I managed to meet my PC and surgeon Dr Traynor. I had researched him before going down and hadn’t found a single bad word. He was very straight to the point, answering all my questions and telling me what sizes he thought were best. I then went in with my PC and tried on all 3 sizes, choosing the natrelle 485CC.
I went home and phoned the next day, putting down my deposit of £500 and booking my procedure for 27/11/2013. I choose to pay it up via the piggy bank which was simple, you just phone and make payments 🙂
The time flew in and before I knew it, it was time for my pre-opp! This is just a quick visit where they take swabs from under your arms and your nose! They also check your blood pressure and you can ask any questions on your mind.
The 4 weeks flew in and before I knew it I was on my way to Preston for my BA. My admission time was 10am. The staff were just wonderful, I got taken to my own wee room where a nurse and doctor came in and asked me the same set of routine questions.
Mr Traynor came in within the hour, drew on me and explained everything once again. Before I knew it I was down in surgery!
I choose 485cc natrelle and was advised to get ‘overs’. I was a 32B, currently in a 34F sports bra.
I woke up feeling like I had only been out for 5 minutes but the nurse asked me if I wanted to see and there they were, my lovely bazookas! I got back to my room and straight away was texting all my friends! I was in no pain at all! I got up for the toilet and was absolutely fine but I did feel a bit light headed – no food for ages and anaesthetic! I got back into bed, got some anti sickness and finally some food! After that I lay for about 30 min, just letting myself get over the excitement! Finally I got up and dressed all on my own and was given the ok to go to my hotel – I was in for less that 5 hours!!!
When I got to the hotel I just wanted food and sleep! I set my alarms to take my meds and truthfully, slept like a baby even if I was sitting upright!
Day 2 was fine, bit stiff and uncomfortable when I got up but managed to stop as Asda on the way home and do a wee shop! Went home and enjoyed the bf running about after me whilst I was in full control of the remote!
I am now on day 5 and feel I have had it sooo easy! I could have easily have went back to work on day 3!
My boobs are also looking less swollen but still like giant bazookas but it’s not even been a week so just need to wait in them dropping and taking shape!
I have my post opp on Wednesday so will add some photos then!
My only regret so far? Not getting it done sooner!
I cannot rate Dr Traynor (genius) and Mya highly enough!
Any questions, feel free to ask!

My story is so similar! I had Mr Traynor at Preston too and was only there 6 hours, I could eat and walk about almost immediately. I’ve had minimum pain and discomfort everything has gone perfectly and so smoothly! 🙂 I had mine the day before you. We have been the lucky ones yay lol xx
We definitely are! Dr Traynor is definitely one of the best out there!

My experience was pretty much the same – My PC, Dr Traynor, The hospital and all the staff were amazing! I too was in and out with 5-7 hours haha!! Dr Traynor is amazing though isn’t he 😀 Hope you don’t mind the add xx
