Hi girls, I’ve found it super helpful reading everyones reviews and experiences so I thought I’d share mine as I’m now one day post op!

My admission time was 3pm which I was initially a bit worried about as I thought I might be getting home really late but it all worked out fine. I got there at about 2:45pm and was basically shown to my private room straight away. The hospital itself was clean and calm.

I was given 10 minutes to change into my gown etc and then the nurse (who was so lovely and smiley) came back to officially admit me. I asked her how long I could expect to wait and she said it could be up to two hours so I made myself comfy with a magazine and began to wait.

HOWEVER, within the space of 15 minutes I had been seen my the ward doctor, My Traynor, the anaesthetist and the operating nurse, who told me she would be back in 20 minutes to take me to theatre. Brilliant! I wasn’t nervous about the surgery at all but everyone was so kind and informative that if I had been nervous I’m sure they would have all made me feel better. Once in theatre I was given pain relief, antibiotics whilst the nurse chatted to me about my recent holiday to Greece. Before I knew it I was back in my room (I don’t really remember the recovery room part but apparently I was talking haha!)

The pain wasn’t great, but soon went away when I had some extra codeine. I spent two hours in my room being checked on every half hour, and then I was discharged and home by 10pm! Overall I can’t fault my experience, and I’m already loving my results!!

It’s good to hear you have had a good experience. How are you finding your recovery and sleeping? I’m worried about the pain afterwards, how are you coping?Xx

My recovery has been great so far, my chest is still really tight at 8DPO but that’s normal and I’ve been allowed to shower now cause my incisions have healed really well! I wouldn’t say I’ve had any pain really. And I’ve actually been sleeping better than normal! Make sure you have a neck pillow as well as the v pillow and it’s much comfier xx

Hi @joannelisa55 I’ll be 4WPO tomorrow and pretty much been back to normal apart from some pain if I stretch my right arm too much. The skin is still quite sensitive though! My boobs are still really firm and don’t move at all but I’m guessing that’s because I have firmer implants under the muscle 🙂
