Hi, I just wanted to share my experience today now I’m more awake as these kind of stories made me feel much better pre op and gave me an idea of what to expect! First of all I had me traynor at Preston First trust! my admission time was 9am but I got there around 8:30 and was shown straight to my room, given my gown and nickers and then about 10 mins later the doctor came in to ask me questions, after that a nurse came in to do the same and put my bands on and give me my stockings! By half 9 the anaesthetist and Mr traynor had been to see me and draw on me! So I decided to try have a little nap as I knew it would be soon Haha! About 10:45 a lady came for me to walk me down to surgery and at this point I got really nervous and she started to ask me what I would usually be up to If I wasn’t havin this done which just made me think of my daughter and got me a little upset but a few deep breaths and I was fine! They then put in the cannula and injected me and before I knew it I was awake and being wheeled to my room! So surprised how little pain I was in just a little stinging from the incisions, I tried havin toast but that just made me feel really really sick so a little later I had biscuits! About 3:15 someone came in to help me to the bathroom and have a peek at my boobs then put My bra on and Then I was sent on my way! I’ve actually really enjoyed the day everybody was lovely! I feel a bit stiff now but hopefully it won’t get painful! I can’t stop looking at my boobs though! I have a 34e m&s sports bra on but it’s actually tight. I will have to find another! I was a b cup before and I had 500cc overs, There are pics on but any one who is pre op really try not to worry! I know it’s easier said than done but it’s been a lovely experience and nothing to worry about atall! I just can’t wait to be back on my feet now and get proper bras hah!
