im 2WPO and my left boob is much bigger than my right and it is visible through clothing. i saw the nurse last wednesday and she said that most of the swelling has gone down so now I’m scared that I’m going to be left with one boob bigger than the other.
what can i do?
Hi could you maybe upload a picture,? It may not be as bad as you think it is, xx
Most girls naturally have one slightly bigger than the other its normal. I don’t think it looks that bad? Xx
@janemarie1983 i know but its much worse in person and you can see through my clothing that one is bigger than the other. I’m scared that when i get fitted for my bras that one cup size won’t fit the other xx
I think it’s hard to see with the flash on, unless one has dropped more? Were they the same size before? I would be going back to the nurse did she not notice it or say anything? Xx
@janemarie1983 I’ll try and get a picture without flash. All she said to me was that they will only change shape and not size, she didn’t mention anything about the size Xx
It looks to me (but hard to tell with the flash on) like your right breast (left to us on the picture) still has some slight swelling giving the top more volume and your left has dropped further into your pocket, totaly normal at this stage, you might find in a couple of days once that swelling has subsided you are suddenly uneven the other way round, i had assymetry before and after but if you didn’t then i honestly wouldn’t be concerned this early post op xxx
Best if you can get someone else to take it too as even lifting your arm to take the pic will work your muscle and alter their true appearance on the photo xxx
@giraffequeen If after 6 weeks they were still different sizes what could I do about it?xxx
I think don’t worry by 3 months they will be the same nearly everyone has one looking bigger during recovery x
I think your smaller one just needs to drop hun, they will even out so don’t panic! Mine were really uneven to start with but are improving all the time now. I’ll attach a photo! I’m now 3wpo and the phot shows week by week.. top left is 1wpo bottom left is 2wpo and the right is 3wpo! Every one heals at different rates and you should treat your boobs as two different ops so try not to compare them to each other just yet. They say it can take 3 months to drop into position xx
.
Try again!
@chloeewalsh15 how’s it going babe? I’m 11 DPO & had overs too, the smaller boob I had the bigger implant in is huge compared to the other one!!!!! Everyone keeps saying it’ll change but it’s mainly people with unders who’s boobs change, it’s rare to see anyone with overs so just wondering how it’s goung? Xx
@chloeewalsh15 no way!! Are you seeing your surgeon? You should deffo be offered revision, you don’t pay 5 grand to be happy with your boobs to still be unhappy, that’s what I’m worried about Xx
@bethalex I’m going to see my surgeon on Thursday and I hope they can do something to sort it because with me only being 18 my appearance is a big thing to me and having one smaller has really knocked my confidence. Even when I got measured she told me I was a cup or two smaller on one boob. I started a new forum and it’s got more recent pictures of the size difference xxx
@chloeewalsh15 no I completely understand babe, I’ve just turned 20 so I 100% agree! I’ll have a look now, let me know what your surgeon says, hope he understands!! Xxx
I was exactly the same, my right was noticeably bigger, I’m now 4 weeks P.O. and they’ve definitely evened out x
My left was bigger than my right the first two weeks. I’m 5 weeks post op now and they’ve definately evened out. My left was more swollen xx
@sophieweir I’m 3 months post op and it’s still the same xxx
@chloeewalsh15 I think your boobs look amazing, what size were you measuring previously and what CC did you get and measuring now?
