My mya experience

This forum has helped me so much so thought I’d share my experience for all the girls who are pre op. I was so nervous but there’s no need to be, all the staff were wonderful. I decided on 460 overs with dr traynor. I have little breast tissue but had slightly tubular so had to be overs. I’m from sunderland and travelled to Preston the day before with my boyfriend as didn’t want to drive on the morning. Stayed in the ibis hotel literally 2 mins away for £30 a night! Admission time was 10.30. Take a book or iPad with you as the wait is boring! Went down at 1.45 for surgery and the anethatist Was telling me to imagine been in the Bahamas with Tom hardy haa. Can’t remember a thing after that. Woke up no pain had tea and toast and went back to the hotel at 6. Had a McDonald’s then went to bed. 1st day PO was painful but feeling better today (2days PO) just uncomfortable. Boobs feel huge at the min but I’m so happy. I went down just after you. But yer was no need to feel nervous as staff were amazing and was looked after so well.

Iv put pics up already, thort I would hate them at fiest but absolutley love them!

Ah it’s good to read stuff like this. I’ve got my surgery in two weeks at Preston & am a mixture of excitement & nerves at the min!! x

Mine was at Preston. I was an overnight stay, youl love it!!

Laura do you mind if I add you? I think I’ve seen you on here before, we both are having overs cause of slight tuberousness and I’ll be at Preston soon too 🙂 I’m unbelievably nervous about the day itself so reading that has really put me at ease, thank you xx

No that’s fine @jenni I’m really happy with mine I was worried they would still look tubular but they don’t il add a pic tomorrow after ivr had my week check up xx
