Morning, just in shock at how smooth yesterday went!!!
Got to Mya Fitzroy for 6:30-6:45am after dragging myself up at 4am to drive from London!! (Yawn) had no nerves just a lot of excitement 🙂 got shown to my room by 7:10. First nurse appeared mins fate to check blood pressure and ask some questions. By 7:45 the anaesthetist came in and spoke me through what was happening and made sure I had no allergies! Mr Singh was in my room by 8 drawing on me and taking photos. Everything was happening so fast it was great as I was so thirsty just wanted a drink but knew I had to wait!!! I was taken down for surgery by 8:30/9 and woke up in recovery around 10!! Remember talking gibberish to the nurse but can’t recall exactly what was spoken about!!! I was taken back to my room by 10:15 where my partner was waiting 😀 I was still so dopey but managed to look at my boobs! Wooooow! Strange to see!! My new 535cc uhp where amazing!! I didn’t go back to sleep, I manage to wake up fully knew I could sleep once home!!! Eager to get home just a tad!! I had my blood pressure checked for 15 mins then I was allow a coffee and some toast which I demolished within seconds!!! That get me the energy to get up and go to the loo which I was busting for!! No sick feeling just slightly light headed which is to be expected!! I had a drip in my hand with fluids in which finish about 11:00 so I asked for that to be removed so I could get dressed! Me Singh popped in to tell me all went well and that I will be so pleased with results 🙂
By 12-12:30 I was discharge!!! Felt weird how fast it happened but I felt great so didn’t need to stay in. I did tell a little white lie that I was staying near by as they only like you to travel 50 miles after but Birmingham was 109! In all fairness I had no pain yesterday so the drive home was fine and I needed my own bed! I’m in pain today and finding it hard moving around so I’d of hated to of had to drive home today. I can feel bruising under strapping which I expected and my incisions are stinging a bit so I’ve taken pain killers for the first time. Feel good other than that tho! Can’t wait to get strapping off 🙂 good luck to all that are under going BA 🙂
