Hi girls. I had mine done yesterday! 325 under with dr fiumara. Here’s everything I can possibly say!!

I can repeat what everyone says – really lovely people all very welcoming and smiley. I got there for my 9am admission but surgery only at 2pm because I stupidly had a biscuit in the morning! Oops. So they had to wait a while. Otherwise I think I would have been about 11am. And went home at 8:30pm. Could have been earlier but she was stuck in surgery a while so had to see me first.
We parked in the mutilstory at CitiPark cliptone st. 5min walk away. And when we left my husband went to get the car and picked me up outside! Very easy.
I went to the operating room which had loads of people in it. Anaesthetic was easy for me. He put the canular in then oxygen mask. Soon I felt a pain in my hand then cold. Had last minute second thoughts haha but could talk through the mask. Tried to fight it but out like a light. Woke up in recovery about 4pm and wheeled back to the room.
Felt uncomfortable – very tight around the chest. Like a tiny elephant sitting on me. As the meds’ wore off it felt more like all my chest bones were cracked. But more painkillers given at 6 so that was fine quickly. I could walk around and use toilet on my own, just needed help getting up and lying down as can’t use arms. First wee didn’t want to come but eventually fine. You will need someone to open the door but you’re fine inside on your own so very dignified!
I took a super comfy button up cotton PJ top and trackies which I’d recommend as I could get them on and off myself for toilet.
I got home and had more pills at 10:30. Then went to sleep. Woke up in pain about 5am this morning. Really couldn’t move at all. Couldn’t even talk loud as too much effort so couldn’t ask for my pills. But managed to get back to sleep and woke up at 9 to take more pills. They gave me cocodamol for pain, and muscle relaxants and antibiotics. When they’re working, I still feel tight and the middle of my chest is sore like someone’s sitting on it but other wise ok. I’ve walked around a little bit but taking it easy. Still sore pretty much everywhere around my chest. I can’t really reach for anything so sitting might my phone and tv remote on my lap.
In terms of results – so far so good! Saw them briefly when dr checked me and looked awesome. Weirdly my nipples had concentrated all the colour in the very centre so looked super dark and small but that’s gone away today. I think the band was just too tight. Dr f looked surprised by it (always a good sign!!!) but like I said. It’s fine today. They loosened it a little. I brought a Macom hook front bra but the hooks are really tight like they’ve hammered them down so quite difficult to do up again! Grrr. The bit sound my nipples – maybe a 5cm diameter looks a little swollen compared to the rest. I think just swelling.

Some tips for you: citipark carpark is convenient but expensive like everything. Cost £30 for 24hrs which you may as well do. I think 12hrs was £25 and you never know if you’ll be delayed.
Bring loose comfy stuff to change into. Don’t bother with socks. You’ll have the compression tights anyway and socks were hard for me.
Get your chaperone to bring themselves food. My husband was so hungry and kept talking bout food so I wanted to punch him. There’s a Nandos close by though and loads of others.
You won’t be able to wear your seatbelt properly. Just across your lap with the rest behind the seat. Recline the seat to 45”
Wear your hair on the top of your head so it won’t be felt while you lie down. They don’t want t to tilt your head at all.
Be prepared for a long wait. I’m sure mine was long because of my stupid biscuit but you never know. Sounded like they’d done quite a few operations that day back to back.
I was lucky in a private room which my husband stayed in but you may share I think.
I’m seriously concerned about what to wear going back to work though. I need the band for 4 weeks but it’s so high and pronounced. I’ll post a pic in a few days… I’m thinking scarves.
And lastly: make sure you are as physically fit as you can be – core muscles especially helped me a lot and stein legs. Also the dr said being strong in the chest was good as it will hold them better.
Good luck everyone! Hope it all goes well and the above helps a little. Xx

Hi Victoria! I am looking to get the same implant size, either 275/300 or 300/325, how is your recovery going and how did you find the 325 implants? 🙂 My worry is that I might find them too big, I’m 60kg and 5’6″, would ideally like to end up with a C cup, basically the same shape as with my push up bra 🙂 xx

Hi Diana! I’m also 5’6 and about 55kg. Started with 32A although I liked to buy super padded 32b. Super super padded.
I had dr fiumara as she’s best suited to small ones and apparently very careful with the scars.
I was also worried about too big. I haven’t told anyone apart from my husband. She was choosing between 300 and 325 for me. She said on the day 325 would give me no more than a C so that’s what I have. 325 high profile in both under muscle.
I would say they look about the same or a little more than as my super padded bras. They are quite high and pointy at the moment (feeling a little Madonna-ish!) but I know it’ll settle.
I’ll try to take a pic soon.
In terms of recovery, today was not a good day. Worst so far. I woke up at 7 in a fair bit of pain. Felt like I’d been shot just above my heart. And this breast band is annoying AF. I think my armpits are red raw.
I had veg soup for lunch and took my pills. I felt a little nauseous today. Then about 4pm I vomited. So bad. I think because I’m a bit gassy/burpy. I think because the painkillers ‘bung you up’ … so that’s fun. Also really out of breath still. I’d give my pain. 3/10 sitting on the couch but I’d woken up at about a 7 or 8 and after I vomited I cried a little for the first time.
I feel ok as long as I keep my pills regular and don’t move a huge amount. I’ll keep you posted 🙂

    Hi Victoria,

Thank you for responding. Bless you! It’s only been a few days, I hope you will feel a lot better soon. Keep going and think about the end results and being bikini ready for the summer! 🙂
I am glad to hear that you achieved the same look as if you have your padded bra on. I do exactly the same, always go for super push up bras so I think Linda’s 300&325 recommended combination will suit me 🙂 I haven’t really told anyone either apart from my boyfriend so I hope it won’t be super noticeable. It’s a bummer with the band! Hopefully they will let you remove it at your post op appointment 🙂
Yes, please do keep me posted xx
