    Hi all I wanted to make a post on my recent experience and of the things you may need to prepare for for after surgery.

    I had my surgery Friday 5th May at the HCA Wilmslow with Mr Netri. I am just over 5’9, 10 st 10 and starting size was 32c. I decided to have the biggest advised which was 350CC.
    My admission time was 7am, I went in and they took my blood pressure, gave me my compression socks and I had to change into my gown. About 8am Mr Netri came to check on me and draw up ready for Surgery, I went down for surgery at about 9am and as I had an uplift was out for about 11am. All happened so quick didn’t really have time to overthink it haha.

    The anaesthetist and all of the nursers were very calming and I had no worries at all, it all happened super quick!! When I woke properly I had some fruit and a sandwich and literally was ready to go home with my meds at around 3pm.
    The first night was probably the worst as I only got around 2 hours sleep, getting out of bed was probably the hardest thing for me. And you feel like your implants might fall out when you stand up because of the pressure but this is normal.. just a very strange feeling. So just take it easy and get up slowly!

    Painwise I am OK! Just some sharp pains where my stitches are but so far that is it (I hope it stays that way)!!

    General Advice:
    -Put your hair in a plait for surgery.
    -Buy plenty of dry shampoo.
    -Prepare for the bloating and constipation, it is probably the worst part tbh.
    -Set alarms on your phone for your meds. I do every 3 hours for codeine, every other 3 hours for paracetamol and 3 times a day for antibiotics so I don’t get confused!
    -Buy some freezable ice packs to sit on the top of your breasts, you may not really need them but it feels soooo nice.
    -Make sure your bedroom and house is spotless before surgery so you don’t go home to a mess haha, I laid all of my clothes out for the week and was so glad I did!
    -I also did a big food shop buying lots of fruit and meal prepped and froze these so I don’t have to cook in the week.

    I am now 2 DPO and have attached some pics! I am happy so far but can’t wait to see the final result when they start dropping cos they’re super hard atm

    What to bring to the hospital:
    Lateral flow tests from night before and morning before surgery
    Surgical bra
    Phone/kindle (something to occupy you)
    Pyjamas/slippers/knickers
    Toothbrush/toothpaste
    Wet wipes
    Shoes easy to get on and off (I brought sliders to go home in)

    Good luck to anyone going for a BA soon!!xxx

    Glad it’s all gone well Hannah! I’m booked at the end of may for reduction, uplift and implants with textured high 350’s
    Im shorter than you but similar weight wise and your befores aren’t far away from mine – im a 34c so you’re the closest I’ve found to my situation – your pics look brilliant, fingers crossed for a similar result and im adding ice packs to my list!!

    Aw thanks Holly. I’ll make sure to keep uploading pics week by week! They’ve not changed much tbh they’re still super firm at the minute. You’ll have to let me know how the OP goes it’ll be here in no time!

    I’m glad my pics could help, it’s so hard when you’re researching you just wana see as many outcomes as possible don’t you haha.

    Yes the ice packs are just an extra. I got mine from Amazon- 3 for £6. Like I said u don’t need them but for the first couple of nights just placing them on top is really soothing 😍xxx

    4 DPO. I really love the size now (even though swollen), can’t wait for them to drop! And bloating is subsiding a little x

    Good thank you 🙂 no longer taking codeine for the pain & I started back at work today. Just get some slight sharp pains in my nipple and incisions but nothing bad at all. So all in all took around 10 days back to myself! Hopefully will have dressings off next week 🙏🏼 what date is your surgery? How are you feeling ?x

    Hello, I am one day post op had mine yesterday with Dr Samouris 375cc under the muscle, finding it very hard to sleep and feels so heavy😩I am dying to see them as I haven’t yet but do t want to take the bra off yet, any advice on when I potentially could?
    I also have my post op next Monday, I completely forgot to ask about stitches do they take them out or are they dissolving ones? Haha I have no clue would appreciate the help if anyone could☺️xxx

    Hi Louise, how are you feeling? yes one of mine is also higher (well not higher but think it’s just more swollen) I wouldn’t worry so many women say this and they will even out eventually x

    @keeleigh, the first night for me I only got 2 hours sleep but after that was fine! I got 2 cushions and a v pillow for behind my back and a slim pillow for under the bottom of my back/bum and I also bought an extra V pillow to go in front of me when I sleep! So I also don’t roll over and Honestly I feel like I’m in a little nest at night it’s so comfy now 😍.

    Mine are dissolvable stitches and I think most are when you have an uplift? But not sure if it’s just a BA! Xx

    I may have to copy you with the pillows sounds like a great idea!! Currently have a neck pillow which has helped quite a lot I’ve managed to get a good few hours just hard to put it on my neck and take it off as I can’t really lift my arms😂
    Okay I’m sure mine are too just when I was looking over the forms they give you after it says about removing stitches so I got a bit worried, hopefully they are the dissolvable ones!Xxx

    Keeleigh – I’m just over 4 weeks post op now, had my dressings taken off at day 10, stitches were dissolvable. I’d second the pillow nest, I’m still sleeping this way. Counting down the days until I can lie on my side again!

    Hannah yours are looking amazing!

    Hi Jenna, that’s great thank you! I miss sleeping in my side and it’s only been a day I still have a while then!😩 when did you take the bra off to have a look? I’m desperate to see them but don’t want to risk anything xx

    @Keeleigh omg yes invest in the v pillows I can’t stress enough how comfortable they are and ngl I would sleep that way every night now it’s that comfy🤣 especially the one in front of you, feels like you’re all tucked in haha.
    I didn’t feel comfortable peeking under my bra for a good 3/4 days as it feels like they’re so not supported when the bra comes off, but it’s fine and good to let them breathe for a bit x

    @Jenna
    aw thank you! What did you have done? Are you happy so far?x

    I had BA, 350cc hp dual plane, I’m so happy with how they’re looking after having very little to begin with. They’re dropping really nicely, and my scars are healing really nicely too.

    I had my bra off the day after surgery to have a look at them, I’m wearing a band and couldn’t really make much out with it on! Don’t be alarmed with how they look when you do take your bra off, they look so strange when they’re swollen x

    @jenna – I took my bra off earlier today to have a look and got a bit worried as they are very high and feel like my nipples are pointing so low! But it’s only been a day i know there’s still a long way to go! I will add a photo

    @hannah
    haha I know honestly so comfy will definitely sleep with the pillows every night!😂

    @keeleigh they’re looking fab! I honestly wouldn’t worry you’ve just gotta think the implant is sitting so high atm once they drop the nipple will come into place nicely xxxx

    Omg they look amazing! I think Hannah is right – I’m sure once they have settled more, your nipples will adjust. I’ve tried to get my breasts done twice already but both times have fallen pregnant – it’s like the universe is telling me something haha! Researching for a third time round now xx

    They’re looking great for a couple of days post op, I wouldn’t worry at all. Your implants will be sitting so high, once they start dropping they’ll look completely different x

    Thank you everyone! I am very excited to see how they turn out!! Struggling with the band though makes everything so much more painful I haven’t worn it much today did you all wear it for the 2 weeks? Xxx

    @chloe
    haha oh no! Maybe after 2 kids will now be the perfect time 🤞🏼

    Hahaha I hope so! I really want them done but worried I won’t be able to achieve the natural look I really want – I need to book in for another consultation I think because it’s been 6 years since my last one. I think if i had got them done back then I would have gone too big for my body actually so it’s a blessing really!
