Hi Everyone…
Thought i would leave a quick update on my story…
I had my BA on 17th june, My admission time was 2.30 in Highgate and Mr Adamo was my surgeon…all day i was sooooo nervous….wish i had an earlier time so it was over and done with….I got there at 2.15 and got shown to my room….which was very nice and comfortable, flat tv bed wardrope ensuite all very clean.
Then the nurse came in, asked a few questions, gave me them lovely knickers to wear lol and the gown and stockings….then the lady who was going to perform the anastetic came in, asked all the same questions really and then Mr Adamo popped in, was so nice to see him at this point becuase i was so nervous and it was good to see a friendly face. We spoke for a little bit and he once again put me at ease…he drew on me and then said we are ready when theatre is ready…well i didnt even get time to sit down they came straight back in and got me…..as i was walking down the corrider i could feel my stomach turning 1000 times….i walked into the anastetic room where they lay me down on the bed, at this point there wasnt much converstation which made me more nervous and then they put the mask on my face and the next thing i knew i was waking up in recovery….
when i first woke up i was really cold, i was shaking and i remember feeling my chest and thinking this isnt that big….then i kept drifiting back off to sleep….i got taken back to my room and i felt like i could do anything, i wasnt in pain or anything but i spose that was the anastetic still in my system, i got up went to the toilet and had a quick peek….when i looked at them i realised that they wasnt actually as small as i thought they was…..they was quite high and very tight but i knew they would drop so i didnt panic too much about that…
then i got bought orange juice and toast, by this time i was starving, i hadnt eaten since 8 am it was now about 6pm…..that went down nicely then they bought me pasta and vanilla ice cream…that went down even better…
I started to feel sleepy but i kept getting hot flushes but the nurse was sooooo good she kept coming to check on me and we even had a litle peek of big bro together lol…..she gave me some sleeping tablets and i was off to sleep, woke up a few times because u have to sleep on your back but other then that i was preety comfortable….
then i was awake at 6am…think i was just excited, the nurse came in again to check my blood pressure etc and then i took some more painkillers and my breakfast came about 7.30 am i just had scrambled egg on toast. I got up to have another little look, and i must admit i could feel the pain alittle bit more, not unbearable pain but just felt like some1 had been sitting on my chest all night! Already i could see that they had dropped a little bit and they already felt a little softer….My mum came to pick me up and we waited for mr Adamo again…he came in and had another little look over and said everything was fine. I did ask him about my right boob, it looked like the was slightly bulging to the side a bit but he re-assured me that it was extra swelling because my right boob was slightly bigger then my left to start with and he was right…today its gone down alot.
They are changing day by day and its only been 2 days so i cant wait to see what they will look like in a month…
I had 410cc over HP……im 5’7 and size 10-12…i think i might be a DD at the mo but that is swelling aswell, i guess i wont really know untill the swelling has gone down.
If any1 has any questions please ask me….
Thanks Girls xxxxx
Hello Charlie ,
I have just been reading your story and it has made me feel at ease a little .I am getting ba on 14th july with Mr Traynor and i am soooooo naervous about the whole thing .are you happy with the size now ,and what size were you to start off with.I am a 32 b now and hpoe to get to a d or dd will be great . Iam only 5,2 and size 10 so i hope they look ok .I am getting ba because i have loose skin due to weight loss so hope i will be pleased with the result .I have chosen 38cc over and not sure if to ask for 410cc in case i am dissapointed with size .
Also was the op and being put to sleep as bad as you thought as i have been putting this back for a long time .
Hi kellg
Trust me i was beyond nervous, i felt sick when i was waiting…..but as soon as i saw my surgeon i was put back to ease…..I am happy with the size but its a little hard to judge what size they are now as they are still swollen…..and still quite high also….id say they are around a DD at the moment so after swelling i think they might be a D. I started at 32b also u can also ask them to order both sizes and on the day just talk through it with your surgeon.
Being put to sleep i didnt really think about 2 much to be honest as i have been out to sleep before but it was all very quick, i just went into the anasthetic room they put the needle in and put a mask on my face and that was it, you dont even have time to think about much….honeslty its that quick and the next thing u no your waking up in recovery with new boobies. Honeslty try not to work yourself up about being out to sleep and the op becuase once your asleep you dont even no what is happening. Ypou also get looked after so welll…r u going to highbury?? xxx
