My story.385cc HP over the muscle with Mr Chantarask

Hi ladies, I had my op on Tuesday at the highgate hospital with Mr Chantarask. I am so pleased to have new boobies! I was a day case thankfully as the highgate hospital wasn’t the best of ‘private’ hospitals to visit. Building works everywhere, loud machines, builders staircase outside my window – had to have the window open as it was so hot and we could see and hear them on their break hanging around nearmy window. Then not to forget the hygiene part – the fire exit door which was located next to my room door, the floor was full of dried mud footprints – yes I walked through this, so did my surgeon in his scrubs and everyone else at that end of the ward. Anyway enough of that, that’s my complaint I need to make.

Apart from that I was pretty much distracted at the time to be having new boobies!! I got there at 8:25 (8:30 admission) then waited 40mins in reception, I was shown to my room and then the process went very quickly. Saw my nurse, did some questions and then saw my surgeon, then the anaesthetist and went down to surgery at 10:40. I had an American nurse and she was absolutely lovely, so helpful and friendly! From the time I said goodbye to my bf and then saying hello again was just over an hr. I was strapped up and the nurse told me to just put my sport bra on tomorrow. You have to wait 4hrs before you can leave from coming around from the anaesthetic so i had a three course lunch (had no appetite though) but the ice cream was amazing, we then left at 4pm. I was in a bit of pain when I came around but that soon passed. The journey home was the worst as we were stuck in traffic and I was sick. Only once which was great, just kept dozing in and out all the way home to.

I am now three days post op and I am surprised how well I am feeling. Not on any pain relief now and just took my last antibiotic. Yes I’m aching when I move around and my back hurts from trying to sleep up right but otherwise everything is gd. 🙂 I have pics up so give me a quick msg and add me if you’d like to see.

I genuinely hope my post doesn’t seem toonegative as I am so pleased now with my new boobs. I do work in healthcare and when paying £4000 for private care, I didn’t expect to see or go through certain things. Above all I am pleased with my surgeon and his work and cannot wait to be fully healed. Nads xxx

Congrats with the new boobs 🙂 glad your pleased with them. I had 410cc overs 12days ago and its amazing how well ii felt from about day 4 ive felt great. Still abit sore when 1st wakeing up in the morning but that passes i cant wait to go bra shopping 🙂 xx

Wow, thank you for sharing your story hun. I love reading about other people’s experiences. I have my op on Tuesday with Dr schavione. I am having overs and will have either 520cc, 560cc or 600cc. At the moment I am only an a cup. Do you mind if I add you? Xx

Thanks ladies. Yes sure you can add me. Zoe I was over the muscle and had cefalexin antibiotics for 3days, were you under the muscle? Depending on the procedure, allergies and medical health people go on different antibiotics. Remember to take them straight after food, never on an empty stomach and drinks lots of water afterwards. Hope you are doing ok apart from that!? xx

I had co amoxyclav.I was over muscle too, ive stopped my painkillers and its improved the stomach upset. Im feeling ok apart from a dead bum from sleepjng upright. Got 2 weeks till im back at work to rest thank god. I work as student nurse so keeping as far away from ill patients for as long as possible. Are you all strapped up too? How you finding sleeping? Xx

@Zoe – your dead bum issues (lol) – try putting a pilow under your thighs. I found it much more comfy as it takes the weight directly off your bum!

Oh my the dead bum issue is the worst. I just had a shallow bath and it hurt more to sit that anything else. I am going to try and sleep a bit more flat tonight, the nurse at the hospital told me it wasn’t a problem as long a don’t roll over to my side or front just yet. My back is really starting to ache today and I’m dying for a proper nights sleep. I’m not strapped up at all now, only my sports bra on. I didn’t go that big and I had quite a bit of empty space to fill. I see everyone is so different with strappings and no strappings, the surgeons know best though hey.xx

Had my consultation last weekend and have been offered a number of surgeons. Picking seems the hardest!! Am thinking of going so see Mr Chantarask, so was good to read you’ve had a good experience 🙂 Would you recommend him? What is he like?xxx
