My story – 25th march 2015. 375 cc HP overs.
My friend and I both got our ops on the same day, my admission time was 12.00 and hers 11.00. We arrived at the First Trust hospital Preston extra early at 10! The nurses were lovely and made our rooms up for us despite us being so early.
My PC had failed to tell the hospital that my friend and I were travelling back home together (no surprise there) so one of the nurses kindly spoke to the surgeon and they moved my op up so it was straight after my friends.
The nurse, ward doctor, and anaesthetist came to see me before Dr. Traynor came to draw on me and he was lovely and even reassured me that everyone is different and my boobs will be beautiful, bless him.
After that my friend was taken down to theatre which made me very excited as I knew I was next. Less than half an hour later at 14.55 the nurse came in my room to take me down to theatre too. When I arrived there the anaesthetist told me my friend was in the room next to us and did great.
The cannula was absolutely fine and not painful and the nurse and anaesthetist was talking to me the whole time to keep me calm which was lovely. Next thing, I wake up a little confused thinking the op hadn’t been done and asking if I need more anaesthetic I look down at my chest and there are my boobies!!
I was taken back down to my room and although I was in pain, I was crying tears of happiness. The pain was like a stinging tight feeling. I demolished the tea and toast after being without food for so long , I could have ate a full loaf tbh :’) Pretty much straight away I was up to use the toilet and since my boobs felt like they were gonna drop off the nurse put my macom bra on for me. They looked very swollen but I LOVE them. After a few painkillers I felt much better and not long after my friend came in my room so i could see her new boobs too, they looked amazing!!
One day on I’ve been in quite a lot of discomfort with my boobs and sleeping upright is a nightmare. My macom bra was far too tight and I’m currently wearing a 34E sports bra from George. I’m looking forward to recovering and watching my boobs get even better!!!
