My story – dr Andrea 325/300cc at Preston on the 17/05/16

So yesterday I travelled with my partner from Birmingham by car which only took a little less than 2 hours to get here so wasn’t that bad plus we had arrived half an hour early! My admission time was 2pm, we went in to the main reception area to have me signed in at 1:40pm. I was so nervous, a lady who I think was the manager took us down to another waiting area which then I was greeted by my nurse and taken to my room, I was told to put my gown on with some compression socks and the most gawjus paper looking knickers ever??
Before I got myself dressed I did the pregnancy test for the nurse which was obviously fine. Then went through my paper work as normal – everything was fine. The nurse told me I will be waiting a couple of hours before I go down to theatre..
Around 2:14pm another nurse came in she was so lovely infact most the staff here made me feel so at ease, she gave me some tablets to take, then not so Long after about 2:20pm a doctor came in to check my breathing, all was good! Honestly so many doctors are in and out the time starts going so fast I had another doctor come in the check me at 3:00pm who felt sorry for me that I hadn’t eaten since the night before I was so starving ??!!
By 04:15 dr Andrea come round to see me, still so lovely! I was put at ease, had a little chat with me told me he will try fit the 325 in otherwise I’ll have to have 275cc, I told him just make it fit – squeeze it in ?? he knew how much I wanted my 325cc but I trusted him. Then he took some photos and drew on me. Explained he had one more patient and I’ll be next.. My nerves was all over the place from this point any noises heard in the corridor my heart would jump haha I couldn’t believe I’ll soon be saying bye to my 32b’s. At 05:43 the anaesthetic come to my room he was so lovely, we went through more questions about my health then told me he will be back in about 20 mins to half an hour to take me down ? I was so scared at this point! But I knew it’s all I’ve ever wanted to got on with it. The anaesthetic come back and took me down to theatre at 06:33pm, put the cannula in which really wasn’t that bad at all! Felt like a tiny scratch if that, then I was told I will feel abit of cold going into my arm an some heat, the anaesthetic asked me what my fav drink was prosecco or a cocktail girl… I said prosec…. I was out! Haha I was back to my room at 08.05 I got my partner to record literally everytime down so I could remember my story after all it’s such a life changing experience. When I woke up in my room I remember feeling so tired I took a quick peek at my new assets ??? fell in love they are perfect they look around a DD but hard to tell as they are swollen I got my 325/300 in the end & I am in loads of pain at the min. I was only supposed to be a day case but ended up staying over i couldn’t stop being sick so the nurse and doctor told me they would like to keep an eye on me for the first night, which I agreed I couldn’t even get out of bed if I did I felt all light headed and would instantly throw up, personally I think it’s the medication I’m on as I’ve been waking up all night and feel abit sick this morning I couldn’t even eat a thing last night I got given the toast and tea I was that bad I couldn’t think of anything worst my appetite seems to of gone. I’ll be ok I think once I get discharged later and back home. Im Gonna try and upload some photos now then some later but the difference I’ve gone from is so amazing dr Andrea is brilliant and couldn’t thank him or the staff thought for everything they have done ??????

Aww Hun glad u had them done I was first down and went home had a bad night sleep my boobs are so swollen but dr Andrea wwas lovely can’t wait to see some photos xxxx

I had a bad sleep too Gemma I can’t get comfort I think it’s this strap we have to wear across our boobs more then anything. How are you feeling today? Xx

In pain had ice packs on but none of my sports bras for me the macom is digging in and the e sports bra is to small xxx

Amy! ? I have Dr Andrea Tuesday coming and I’m all emotions I cry get excited the works!!! I’m getting 500cc overs HP, I’m traveling down from Newcastle with my boyfriend to I’m so nervous btw they look AMAZE! ❤️ xx

Update on my photos actually can’t believe how big they look ? I’m hoping they stay this way cos at the min they are obviously swollen. Still feeling sick too!! Anyone got any tips to get this sicky feeling away?!! X

I’m a nurse and I could imagine them being nice babe! They are lush I’m just so nervous I keep getting this nervous poo feeling ahahha I just don’t know what to expect xxx

Hey Amy, I was super sick after my op! I was back in my room at about 2pm, but didn’t stop throwing up until 7pm. The only thing I managed to keep down was apple juice and cream crackers, the crackers definitely helped my sickness 😛 xx

@kayathomas I’ve just managed to get some food in me, I just can’t keep it down, not long after my op I was sick twice then this morning on my way home and about an hour ago. I’ll have to ring my nurse if it doesn’t stop x

@bethtaylz aw your be fine, I was a nervous wreck about the same time as you week before my actual op.. Now I think to myself I don’t know what all the fuss was about its all over so quickly xx

@jademylee yeh hun I went by my back size which was a small, my nurse recommend the size at my pre op and now it fits perfectly!!
