Hi girls!
After seeing the negativity on here today, I’d like to personally reassure some pre op girls – it’s really not that bad!
Like many others, I crawled this forum for hours on the lead up to my surgery, by doing so I’ve met a group of girls who have made this journey even more incredible for me.
I am now 5 days PO, I didn’t have my surgery with MYA, so can’t comment on how they do things. But what I can tell you is this is by far the best thing I’ve ever done.
I may of been a lucky one with no complications or anything, I’ve felt very little (if any!) pain and have only taken paracetamol for the first 3 days (more out of habit then needing it!) obviously there was tightness and it was frustrating not being able to even flush the loo or get myself out of bed, but it’s all so temporary for something I’ve wanted my whole life.
I had an awful fear of the anesthetic and sickness, but luckily I was absolutely fine. I actually really enjoyed the GA and wish I could of brought it home with me!!
Pre op girls, please be excited not nervous! It’s really really not bad and I’m a massive wimp! I still have limited feeling and can’t move my arms completely yet , but it’s such a quick recovery and I’m soooo thrilled with my new twins!
I was a 32a, went for 375cc ultra high profile overs. I’m 8st4 and 5ft4, if anyone wants to message me or has any questions feel free 🙂 x
