MYA Aftercare!

I’d just like to say that after all the bad stuff I’ve heard on the forum about MYAs aftercare I couldn’t disagree more! I’m 16 days post op and had so many problems with the surgery (non that could of been avoided and certainly not down to the surgeon!) and MYA have been nothing but fabulous with squeezing me in here and there! I’ve been seen 5 times since my op (all last minute) and am most probably been re-op’s tomorrow. All the Leeds MYA team have been fab and special credit goes to Jenny the nurse. She’s so fantastic and has really gone out of her way to help me! All you hear on the forums are bad responses and I’d just like to put out a good review about them! Despite my complications and the fact that personally I wouldn’t go through with the surgery again if I had a repeat of this experience I would highly recommend MYA to anyone considering cosmetic surgery! xxxx

It’s not so much a re-op. Helena has done a fantastic job and my wounds are amazing! It’s just I have a hematoma which needs sorting 🙁 like I said nothing I could of avoided. I do love Jenny bless her! Bet she’s sick of seeing my bloody boobs now though! Ahaa. xxxx

Well if a company corrects a bad experience well and puts it right, a customer is more likely to recommend! Job well done I say! Glad all is being sorted for you! Xx

Hope everything goes well for u hun, can i ask how did u know something was wrong with them? I saw jenny at mya and she is so sweet! Couldnt have asked for a better nurse x

Yes of course sweetie, it’s only my left that’s been a pain in the backside! It’s bruised badly all the way round the edge of the implant and up the sides, it’s also double the size of my other breast and is taking an odd shape. Also when I touch the bruised area you can feel the blood underneath, it’s not firm like the implant would be. If there was something wrong you would definitely know it! No hiding it now, even under clothes it’s obvious it’s quite swollen. My right however is just perfect and I’m chuffed to bits with it! xxxx

awwww no – bet your gutted – thats such a shame the other one had to develop hematoma! Im 12 days post op and my left feels very bruised to touch but no coloured bruising on the skin & its been more swollen than my right since the day after the op! It is much harder too but im hoping its normal and will settle in quickly xx

Hey Holly-Louise, just wondering… did you have overs or unders? Helena explained that with unders its common because of the type or procedure and the drains. just wondering if its a possibilty with overs too? i had a heamatoma after my csection and was really painful!! its not something i’d like to experience again lol. And by the way how was Rochdale Hospital, and have you had to have another op to sort it out? xxx

i agree ive had no probs with mya or the care my pc is amazing and helped so much thanks to charlotte williams at mya going in on tuesday so hopefully all goes well then too x x

Hi ladies
Im thinking of going with mya buy had hurd some bad stories of aftercare and to be honest thats the reason i was going with them in tge 1 st place. What are your honest opions?
If something wasnt right or went wrong i want to no im in safe hands. X
