Hi ladies – I went for my consultation on Saturday and all booked in for a surgeon consultation 28th April and op on 21st May.

I haven’t told any of my friends/family just yet so looking to make friends with some mya friends to help me on my journey. I’m having my op with Dr Traynor. I can’t wait, it’s taken me years to make my mind up!

Any tips on size choosing, aftercare etc will be appreciated 🙂

I’m 6ft2, probs only a 32b at present, size 10/12, and my biggest fear is the surgeon telling me I can only go up to a certain size. Has this happened to anyone? I haven’t really got an idea of how big I actually want to be, I find myself looking at pics of boobs and thinking “is that the size I want?”

Also, has anyone had the mentor implants? I thought I was going to have natrelle, but my PC says they have just switched – anyone know why?

The surgeon normally offers you what will fit your frame, what breast tissue you have what your skin is like etc. You are tall and a size 10/12 and I’m no expert but I reckon you would be able to take a fairly large implant . If you have no idea just tell the surgeon what you want to achieve and he will advise u from there! Good luck x

I am currently 34A and was offered 325cc implants as the largest.

    My op is on Tuesday.

I’m a good size 12 and an empty b/c cup and I’ve been offered 525, 560 and 605 implants but they are natrelle soft touch mind….sure my PC said they are pretty much same sizes as the mentor ones. I was going to book for 21st May yesterday haha! X

Ive not told anyone apart from my boyfriend either. I know most won’t approve so would rather not deal with it until it’s too late ha!! I’m also a 34b and looking at either 380 or 410 implants want to end up a d/dd. I had an idea what size I wanted to go and my surgeon mr mounir then gave me a choice of three sizes to choose from. I’ve just seen on another thread about the change of implants though & I didn’t ask that question as to what I’m having so emailed my pc Fri, just waiting for her to get back to me x

Only my husband and 2 close friends know I’m getting it done….my mam, dad and sister don’t want me too and I think not having their support puts me off….although I’m still deffo doing it, just a matter of right timing! I could do with my parents support as I’d like help looking after my littles ones lol!
Claire if you were consulted/quoted/booked for natrelle’s you’ll still get those! x

My op is 26th April so not too long to have to keep it quiet now.

Ok thanks Kirsty although only had my first consultation a couple of weeks ago so bet I’m on the new ones. I can’t believe I’ve never asked at either appt but my mind goes blank. I should have made a list of things to ask really xx

Defo keep it on the down low as much as poss! Too many opinions and Lizzie is right ppl are quick to judge and you’ll spend more time worrying about what others think! Jus go for it! It your decision and your body. Just make a list of questions u wanna ask so you don’t forget and spk to ppl who have had it done as they give the best advise and can relate. Xxx

I had my op last week, I looked at girls pictures when I went for my consultation in the book, and looked at what size frame they were and what size the implants were, I’m quite small and slim on my top I was a 34 tiny a, asked to hopefully become a d, and I had dr Singh he have me 400cc overs, and I couldn’t be more happier, I will be putting pics up either tonight or tomorrow so your more than welcome to add and have a look. I didn’t want mine to be too big because it wouldn’t suit my frame and mine are perfect for me! xxxx
