Mya or Transform??x

Hi guys, it’s probably not the right forum to compare the two but does anyone have an opinion on which group they would choose? I’m seeing both for consultations in March and keen to hear feedback on surgeons, results, aftercare etc etc. Thanks xx

I can help with that one! I was almost certainly going with Transform, as had 3 friends who highly recommended them. So I booked an appointment with Transform and also booked one with MYA. Funnily enough, I found out about MYA off the Transform website which had a comparison table and MYA seemed to be ticking more boxes than Transform (bizarre as to why Transform would advertise the fact).

I had my Transform appointment first and was kept waiting half an hour past my appointment time with no word of apology. The lady I met was nice enough and as I didn’t have anything to compare the appointment with at this stage, I was sure I would go with them. When I was about to leave my appointment she asked if I was seeing anyone else. I told her MYA and she proceeded to slag off the owner of MYA (who happens to be the founder of Transform and got them to where they are now).

My appointment with MYA was outstanding compared to Transform. The atmosphere was far more friendly and extremely more informative. My appointment lasted an hour, talking about the process as much as possible. Even though I’d had 3 recommendations for Transform and I didn’t know anyone who had gone through MYA, or had even heard of them before, I wanted to book MYA on the spot.

I have my operation on 15 March and the whole process so far has been extremely enjoyable. The fact that MYA has a forum like this speaks volumes.

And through MYA I have learnt about overs/unders/partials and low/moderate/high profiles and sizes. I have asked my friends who have had their boob jobs done through Transform what they have had in terms of overs/unders and profile etc and they don’t have a clue what I’m on about. Transform just seem to do the job without telling you what you’re getting or discussing the options with you.

I can’t recommend MYA highly enough!

it will depend on which Surgeon and money, mya is more expensive. Also most surgeon work more than one surgery x

Transform quoted me £4095 with transport and overnight stay. However, my friend had BA with Transform and she paid that same price without transport or overnight. MYA matched Transform’s price for me.

i went to transform last year for consult and found the receptionist a bit cold and then the PA was very straight talking like she was reading from a script. she never showed me one size implant and said that it would take me approx 2 size bigger than i was, never told me there was different sizes. i asked about the finance option even though i had saved up, she said it was interest free for 12 months but worked out at 395 a month?? (you do the math) very expensive!! she never mentioned name of surgeon and said if i wanted to see him i would have to wait up to six weeks or i could book at time that suited me but had to pay £850 (this would be knocked of end price). But i wanted to see him before i made my mind up so did not like that fact! she should me no pictures and was very odd. i left my contact details and expected a call after a few days to see what i had decided on…..but nothing!

this really put me off and i actually thought maybe i should wait abit longer and find out about other clinics.

Went to MYA in Jan saw PA and surgeon really liked both (great sense of humour and really informative. Was showed pictures, different sizes of implants. got to try with sports bra!! Really lovely atmosphere between surgeon and the girls who worked there. Price was exactly what i was expecting and i was told about the overnight stay costing £400 bu i was fine with this as i want to stay. It sound expensive but it is paying for your food, your room and the wages towards the nursing staff who are looking after you!!

i booked with MYA and have had correspondence, telephone calls and text messages from my PA!! GO MYA!!

I booked an appointment to see transfrom and mya on the same day a few weeks back, went to transfrom 1st and when i was sat talking to the woman i just felt like it was all a case of i dont really care just doing my job this is how much it is here is your little booklet (which she didnt go through with me) here is an implant to look at, weve got a surgeon in now if you wanna see him? she just quickly skipped through everything, so said id see the surgeon, he didnt let me try any implants on in sports bra just had a look and said id recommend this size any questions? and that wa it just didnt feel like i “connected” with the people id spoken to. When i went to mya i just felt so much more relaxed and my PC was really nice made me laugh and went through everything in detail and was really helpful, came back to mya the following week to see a surgeon and she had me trying on implants and made me feel at ease. overall for me 1st impressions mean alot and if it means paying £150 extra id rather go with mya and feel like im cared about and not some other person with £4k! x

i went to see tranform first, got quoted £3700. was only offered 380cc max which wasnt what i wanted. surgeon was not very friendly and the pc just wanted to get her comission. rang up mya went in a few days later and booked my op the day after i seen my surgeon made me feel sooo welcome, surgeon explained everything btr, offered me a bigger size that i wanted but did explain anything over 380 i was at risk of rippiling ect. Basically transform surgeon seemed scared to do his job and i felt my surgeon at Mya was more confident at wot he was doin therfor i felt more at ease. lol sorry thts all kinda mumbo jumbo hope it makes sense haha xxxx also i paid £4250 at mya but price dont matter its the end result and who u feel more comfy with and trust more xxx

mya all the way!!! I found transform pushy and they hardly gave me any info about the procedure. i had mr adamo and he was brill, i have such a natural result. a lot of the surgeons have left transform to work at mya. singh and traynor definitely have xx

Hey hun, I haven’t read the other girls replies so I might be repeating some stuff but I also booked consultations with both, and after two with each, I felt Transform rushed me both times. While MYA are a lot newer and for that reason some people are apprehensive, I found them so friendly that I knew I was making the right decision. The aftercare plans are so similar and they share at least 2 of the same surgeons. I’m having Mr. Chantrasak, who I saw with both because I knew I wanted him. A lot of the major companies WILL price match their major competitors, and I’m pretty sure MYA will lower their price to whatever Transform offer you (as long as you make it clear that they offered you lower) that’s what I did… It’s up to you whoever you feel more comfortable babe, but that was just my experience! How much is a boob job from transform if you dont mind me asking??

I never been to transform, but they use the same consultation office in cardiff… whicih i thought was kind of weird, but thats a reason i dont wanna go to transform just in case my MYA PA sees me and thinks something…!!!

Lol Im not sure what the price differences are, from what I’ve read, about a couple hundred quid I think? I think you can get them to price match though.

Hi girls, I’ve got an appointment with a surgeon next with with MYA but have also just booked to see a surgeon with ‘Mills and Mills’ – they do BAs for £2995 and offer aftercare! It’s worth looking into x

Transform are being slated at the mo. A few girls on sofem have had problems after ba.transform are trying to make them pay for re ops… Aftercare is like finding rocking horse turd xx
