Nearly 1 year post op and still feel discomfort. Is it nerves?

I had my BA done in July 2017. I had under the muscle 300ccs. I have gained weight since my op of about a stone and I am currently working on loosing this again. I have never been really settled with my boobs the sides are a little achy at times and I have not been able to find bras that I find comfortable. I don’t have as much sensation in my left boob but have always been too scared to massage them. I do now check the sides but they are tender to touch underneath above the scaring but is this just one of those things? I am going to book my 1 year PO appointment soon but wondered if anyone has the same and if it is one of those things. Any advice or similar experiences would be great to let me know xx

Hi hun, ive been putting off doing a post for a while about this i’m 1year 5 months post op i think now and ive had a few differences too, i did a post just now as its the first time i’ve been on here since having them done – my nipples have gone a lot dryer and sore/sensitive and i never had this issue before with my nipples being dry and flaky it is really uncomfortable sometimes, my sides are also tender and when i squeeeze them sometimes they are also sore and tender, i dont know whether its how i sleep or what, tbh i dont really wear a bra much to be but through the day majority of the times i wear one… but god knows just thought i would comment so you didnt feel as though you was the only one but i think im going to book an appointment too xx

@demimae · thank you so much for posting. My nipples do the same but not all the time its like the skin peels and sometimes can look like its cracking. I hate the sensations one that has hardly any feeling that can freak me out at times as it feels like there is something missing on my front due to the lack of feeling and my other boob being so sensitive it has a mind of its own at times! I have always slept in my bra at my last check i was told to always sleep in one. I constantly have a bra on swap from my surgery bra to a non wired bra to a wired bra and i hate them all can not get comfy. I don’t know if my breast have maybe gone bigger recently as i have some red marks on them which i thought was stretch marks but i feel maybe my boobs come out too far at the sides and thats why i am uncomfortable. When you have the shooting pains does anything help them. Are yours under or over the muscle? What size cc? Xx
