Has anyone else been this far along following surgery and still felt bit tender with seriously sensitive nipples, not even being able to bear to touch them??

Was going to go back to clinic but don’t know if it’s me just being mardy? I’ve started taking ibuprofen before bed and in a morning to see if this helps….

My implants are unders and always heard that unders take longer to feel better but never imagined this long xx

Hmm, at 4 weeks I think I still had a bit of discomfort when putting my arms straight up like shaving my armpits etc but not necessarily painful where I’d be taking painkillers. One of my nipples is still numb and the other is sensitive! I wouldn’t worry. I had unders too and mine were fairly small implants so if you had larger ones then I can imagine why they would be more painful.

I was in quite a degree of pain till 6 weeks so it’s not unheard of just make sure you attend all of your post op appointments so your being checked over xxx

I had my op on 1st June so I’m now 4 weeks too, still have pain of reaching for things, my nips are so painful, if they brush off anything I want to cry. Morning boob doesn’t last as long now as it did two weeks ago. Right one is more tender. Left one has dropped and fluffed really well. Right looks stuck on and too high up. Trying to not analyse them or every little pain right now but I’m not enjoying them yet. What bra are you wearing? The nurse told me on Friday that we don’t need skin tight compression bras at this stage, just medium support that keeps weight off the incisions. I’ve been to m&s, Debenhams etc and can’t find a comfy bra so
I’m still in a sports bra from m&s that isn’t letting the right one drop.

I’ll stop moaning now, but I feel your pain! Hugs!x
