Nearly at the 6 week mark !! When can I wear normal bras?

I’m 6 week post op on Wednesday and just wondering when can I wear normal bras? I have been measured today ( couldn’t help myself !) and brought a few bras! Really want to wear them !.x

Hi Sarah, I’m 6 wks on Tuesday and can’t wait to have my check with the nurse and get the ok to wear normal bras again lol! Sports bras and macoms for 6 wks is very tiring isn’t it? Hope you’re doing ok and healing well. Did you find being measured ok? Did you get underwired or non-wired to start with? x

You can usually wear under wired at 6 weeks however after my check at 6 weeks I was still sore and my breasts very hard so they didn’t sit well in bras or look nice in them .
I left it another few weeks and at 9 weeks they had softened and felt and looked better in a bra X

I have my 6 week check on Thursday well I should be the nurse left me a message to change the time ! Bit gutted really because I really wanted the all clear to wear underwired bras! The measuring went ok she brought all sorts me to try and different cup sizes, I just went to be measured really but ended up buying a out 6 bras!! ???? But I did have a voucher so couldn’t help myself!! Hope you check up goes ok on Tuesday Deb, you’ll have to let me know how you get on. X

Just wondering as well Donna after 6 weeks were you able to sleep Lying on your side ? I have to say that worse part of this whole process was sleeping on my back for 6 weeks with about 6 pillows !! Lol wouldn’t put me off doing it again though ! Lol ! X
