need advice girlies☺…

So my op is the 15th of September and I’ve just booked a holiday for the 20th of October would I be okay to be wearing bikinis at that point or?

@abbyrosex I’m the 15th too 🙂 are you at Preston? Seeing a lot of posts on here it’s different for everyone how long it takes them to feel normal again. I’d see how you’re feeling the week or so before you go away and if your unsure try and get a bikini where the top if slightly more supportive. You’ll be 5 weeks post op for your holiday, only a week off how long they advise you to wear a sports bra for so you may be okay xx

That would only be about 4/5 weeks later so personally I wouldn’t wear them until 6 weeks plus to be on the safe side. I think it would be okay for a few hours maybe? But i’m not a nurse so wouldn’t know exactly really! You definitely can’t go swimming until your nurse oks it at your 6 week appointment xx

You won’t be able to swim and you’ll need to make sure you cover your new assets in high factor sun cream as the skin will burn like crazy with it bein stretched so much. Also, keep your scars well covered cause if you get scar burn they won’t turn white they’ll just stay a dark pink colour all the time. With regard to bikini, just make sure they are very well supported and don’t have them on for too long. I always find halter necks are best – I wouldn’t go strapless and make sure you have a good support for anytime your not in your bikini. I know it sounds strict, but you’ve paid a lot of money for your op, you don’t want to ruin them xx
