Hi everyone I need some advice as I am wearing a 32D sports bra, and I am feeling most irriatated where my incisions are I don’t know if this is because my sports bra is too tight for me if I’m beat going to a DD or even moving up to a 34 back as I’m not sure if they are supposed to be irritated, also I am bandaged up but I can feel that down the bandage my boobs are pushed together I know I have bandages and a tight sports bra but I didn’t think my boobs were meant to be pushed together whilst I’m healing??

Hiya I was the same my macom was just too tight which was a medium so I ordered a 2 pack of post op bras off asda in a large and these are much better they were only 15 quid for two aswell plus they are a little lower round the bottom so you can position them under your incisions hope this helps x

Hi I’ve had the same but not sure whether it’s just the incisions healing that make it feel like that as sometimes it feels ok and other times like my boobs are going to burst out of my bra! It’s worth trying another size though just to see? Xx

The nurse should of put it on for you and checked before you left. I’m in a DD as the D would never have fit as was a zip up front one and way more tight. You should be able to get 2 fingers underneath if you can it’s fine. you should of got 1 size bigger back too im normally a 32 but got a 34 and it’s fine. Hope this helps. Xx

Thanks for all the replies they helped yeah I am wearing marks and spencer sports bra that zips at front, had a little trouble zipping it when I first put it on in hospital but it’s been fine everywhere apart from way too tight around my incisions I rang MYA they said to go up a size round the back from 32 to 34 to take some pressure off incisions but to keep it tight everywhere else for the support , thank you everyone xx

That’s what I had a D in the m&s zip up front but it wouldn’t even zip up it was sooo tight before I had anything done I could hardly breathe in it ha ha. I have a 2 pack of m&s sports bras in DD that do up at the back and they are way more comfy xx
