Needing some reassurance :-/

Hi girls! So I’m booked in to have my BA on the 15th November – Not with Mya. I am starting to really doubt I’m making the right decision and worrying about everything! I have a 9 month old and worrying I won’t be able to look after him properly afterwards! I will have help for a week and I’m having overs so hopefully recovery will be easier? I am also having scar revision on my c-section scar though so two procedures. If anyone had been in a similar situation or can offer any advice would be appreciated 🙂 xx

I had unders and have a 1 year old and was worried about looking after him. You will definitely need help that first week I didn’t lift my little one at all that first week my mother in law had him. By the second week I was looking after him on my own but I only lifted him when absolutely necessary and when my husband was at home he did everything for the baby. I was fine to cook, clean etc from about day 3 though. I think you will somehow find a way to manage but do try and get help and not over do it. I just sat on the floor a lot to play or cuddle the baby. Xx

Hi Lauren. I’m 6 days post op and also had overs. I have a 3 yr old and 6 month old. I have had extra help up until today which was definatley needed. I’ve not lifted my 3 yr old at all but obviously am having to lift 6 month old today just trying to do it as carefully as possible and only when needed. I’m aching today and just hoping I’m not going to do any damage. My husband is away with work for next two nights so not even got any respite in the evenings till after bedtime. It’s do able but hard work lol! Xx

You be fine Hun I was on my own with three kids younest being 18 months he’s 2 now but I managed as husband got called away to work day of my op I just did things more careful an slower I was hooping and cleaning by day three just being super careful as I was doing it I only picked my 2 year old up when I really needed to other wise I would sit on the floor with him and play or he would sit on settee with me and play or watch films you will find a way to manage xxxx

Thanks so much girls! Does make me feel a lot better knowing you have all managed :-). Think as it’s getting closer to the date the more nervous I’m getting and overthinking everything. Fingers crossed everything will be ok! Xxx
