Nerves / Excitement – Heeellllppp

Feeling a little stressed got BA op on Monday. Had consultation and having 420 unders, wondering if they’re guna be too big or too small, i’ve got a week off work, is a week enough…scared i’m not guna like results or they’re guna go wrong or it’s going to be extremely painfull afterword…..Oh my god is all this over thinking normal lol…also scared to death of the catherta thing, can they use numbing cream ?

It’s completely normal to feel like this I had 415 in one of my boobs a d 385 in the other, if you would like to look at my pics feel free to add me as a friend, mine are overs so not had any pain at all, don’t worry about the can they put it in in the theatre and your that hyped up you hardly notice it the next thing you are asleep then waking up in recovery with new boobies 🙂

Hi Kim Hun trust me all these feelings are normal Hun we’ve all been through it and felt exactly the same but honestly when it all happens you and you wake up with your new boobies you’ll think like we all did its not as bad as I thought it was goin to be and you’ll have your new boobies to Hun you’ll be fine and as for the needle in your hand that’s the one thing I was frightened of but at 29 and 2 children and tattoos I asked for numbing cream the nurse said I’ve got to use the correct name magic cream lol she was tryin to calm me down and make me laugh the nurse put it on both hands just in case Hun and it worked didn’t feel a thing as soon as the numbing cream went on my hands all my nerves had gone and I was a totally different person all chilled out then when I went to theatre they kicked in again but was soon put at ease with all the staff having a laugh and joke so you will be ok Hun let me know how it goes good luck not long xxx

I desperatly needed the numbing cream as i was petrified of the cannula, i couldnt see past it to the extent of not even thinking about the op or recovery, all i could focus on was the cannula. When it came to it the anaethetist was too late as the surgeon wanted to get started and the cream takes 40 mins to work. God i have never been so scared but i did it and it was fine. In fact they did it twice coz the first one didnt work properly. She knew how scared i was and made sure she got a good vein before even attempting it and i barely felt a thing, no different to taking blood, quick prick but nothing after that. Please dont worry, believe me when i say if i can do it anyone can and youll def laugh at yourself afterwards.

Or thanks guys. i’m doing my own head in at the moment but also really excited cz I know it’ll all be worth it to finally rid of the padded bras 🙂 I’m defo asking for the Magic cream haha cz thats my main worry at the moment, oh an the recovery period and how they’re going to feel. Never thought it’d be as stressfull as it is. You’ve made me feel better already 🙂 xx

Awww thanks Thanks tinabalerina 🙂 i’ve kept reading over an over these pages hoping someone is/was as worried as me over the cannula but didn’t find anything..i’ll let you all know how I get on anyway, got a Monday night over stay, Mr Kazzazi will hopefully be working his magic and giving me the amazing boobs i’ve dreamt of 🙂 fingers crossed hehe xx

Hey Kim I was really scared of the whole process too especially the cannula. I had unders i am 11 days po and have had 2 weeks off work, i have got a physical job though. I was in quite abit of discomfort the first few days but had really good pain relief that just made me want to sleep, so I really just slept the first week away lol.
Your be fine as long as you do keep rested and dont do anything!! Good luck 🙂 x

Oh god i’ve only got one week off work, all I do is sit at a desk tho, i’ll have to get someone to move my phone etc really close so I don’t have to stretch 🙂 really really nervous but its comforting reading all your advise, i’m just a big wimp when it comes to gettin poked with sharp things lol. Hope I get given just ad good pain relief, sleeping a whole week away sounds a right idea hehe. How did you cope with sleeping ? i’ve got a V Pillow but thinking I might av to invest in about 5 more pillows to prop me in the right position. Also are the Asda Sports bra’s as good as i’ve been told or is there better more comfortable ones ? xx

The v pillow is wonderful and really helps with sleeping propped up i have got my normal 2 pillows under and around it too. With regards to the bra I bought a macom bra and have found that really comfortable, the bit i dont like is wearing the breast strap which is chafing under my armpits my surgeon said to wear it for the whole 6 weeks!!!! I have also bought a couple of sports bras too. x

Kim you’ll be fine Hun honest the v pillow is a god send really is I had mr kazzazi he’s amazing and knows what he’s doing if your at Doncaster the staff are amazing there and nothing’s to much trouble for them they make you feel so comfortable and relaxed I loved it but a tip for you is take a pillow with you for the car journey home it’s a god send Hun xxxx

Hi everyone, well i’m now three days post opp, everything went well, had the magic cream which was a godsend 🙂 not had too much pain at all, left side really itchy tho, is that normal ? annoying the crap out of me lol, has any of you itched ? Size doesn’t seem big enough at all at the moment but been reading that because there unders the muscle needs to relax so not panicking yet 🙂 xx

its the needle thing that goes in the top of your hand where they inject the stuff that puts you to sleep…just ask for the magic cream if your worried, I didn’t feel a thing it was great, main thing I was worrying about aswell xx

Not loving them just yet as i’m taped up an itchy 🙁 hoping I like what I see when the tapes off on Monday, feel a right mess at the moment lol. Been reading a lot on here and people say theres changed loads within the first 6wks anyway so just going to have to wait and see xx

Im not loving mine yet either hun, had them done yesturday and feeling there well too small. Y rnt u loving yours? Bet u cant see much with them being taped up i never had the tape xxx

Same reason, they don’t feel as big as I thought they would, just bit like my old ones but swollen and wider. The tape is horrible, also had mi hair braded cz you cant wash it, just feel really poo at the mo, incisions on left are itching too so thats not helping.. Roll on Monday so I can have a proper look at them. One of my friends said hers felt really small but now feel huge so hopefully when my muscle relaxes a little they’ll start to feel bigger 🙂 What size did you have ? is it just the size thats worrying you? everyone says they change over the 6wk xx

With hair, could you not have a backwash and blow dry at hairdressers? Xx
