Never ever again !

Every one says how good it is well it’s a lie! All I want to do is to be able to breath again !, move my arms , sleep laying down at night haven’t slept for 3nights or have a wash! And worst of all the stining burning from nipple right around boob I’ve had enuff of them now any 1 else got theusr things wrong with them to!! Xx

I feel the same 🙁 i regret doing it because i didnt think the recovery will be that bad im very impatient and just feel like i will never be able to sleep ever again!!!!

I have strapping on which is really uncomfortable plus I can’t see my boobs 🙁 it burns and is itchy as hell none of my bras make it more comfortable and I cannot stand not being able to wash or even get out of bed by myself !! Hope use feel better soon xx

Its horrible kim ain’t it I thort the same but obviously u dnt get told its this bad! I no me neither I just want some 1 to punch me and knock me out for a good 2wreks till its all over lol

Lindsey I’m exactly the same to Hun I’ve had a bra on ever since had it done 3 days ago if I take it if it kills with the weight of it but we’re all seem to be in the same boat right now I hope every one feels alot better soon and quick girls cx

Maybe everybody is different? I wasn’t in much pain, slept well from the first night even though I had a full strapping for a week. It’s a surgery, don’t know what some people are expecting? Everything about not sleeping, pain and not washing was said on this forum. You should feel better within few days, just take it slowly. X

It is painful Hun your right but it does get better each day 6 days post op it still hurts first getting up the burning/stinging all down the sides is hurrendous!!! When I have been up 10//15mins and had my pain relief it does get better now? Really sore/bruised near incision site for me at min though. Chin up hunni it does get better a day at a time n all that Xx

Thanks Becky think no one actually noes how u feel if there not feeling it them selfs ! U get told theusr things yes but never think it’s gonna really b that bad or happen to u! I’m only small and not a lot to me the surgen said but not like I’ve gone really bigger than my frame can take ! I suppose each day will hopfull get better but nearly 4 days now so still erlie for me just Carnt cope with this and I’ve got a very high pain thresh hold but I’ve met my match with this 1 I tell u , hope every 1 else is ok xx

Bless ya, it is horrid I won’t lie I’m still very sore, you’d have thought that they would give something more stronger than ibropofren and paracetamol for pain relief tbh cause they don’t work very well!! I can’t wait to have some wine to knock me out at night I’m gonna ask if I’m allowed tomo, sleeping is awful Hun xx

Get some low dose cocodimol tablets which you can get over the pharmacy counter…They could maybe hit the pain a bit better 🙂 x

Are you so miserable after only 4 nights?!! Seriously? Please read my blog as that would DEFINATELY put things into perspective. I’m 8 weeks post op and haven’t had a proper shower in over 2 weeks!!! And it’s not even from the op, but from the damn garmet I had to wear for 6 weeks (again no shower). Since 30th of July I probably had about 4 showers..washing bits at a time .Trust me.. Some of us are Much worse. Just like it doesn’t mKe me feel better of other’s misery 🙁 so I do sympathise but 4 days is too soon to complain. Just saying…

Hey hun i understand that pain it had me in tears at the hospital.. u should have got tramadol to take with other things.. it sorted me right out and made the whole thing easy.. so many girls really suffer when its not necessary xx

@yana omg I just read your blog, you’ve been through it! I’d say for anyone feeling down then have a read of your blog and they’d definitely realise it’s not all that bad, you’re a very brave woman! Hope you’re fully recovered very soon xxxx

@Sarah, thank you:) I didn’t really mean to snap here, was a bit harsh.. I’m almost back to normal, and absolutely loving the results. I don’t regret it one bit and glad I pulled through. I’m desperate to get back to the gym and I could do some cardio, but don’t want to sweat if I can’t shower properly…:(

@yana I don’t know how you’ve gone so long without a shower, my last shower was Tuesday morning and I already feel awful even though I’ve had a wash and even a shallow bath, I just so cannot wait to stand under it, off to the hairdressers today for them to wash my greasy bonnet that’s not been washed since Monday there’s no way my other half would do a good job of it like your husband lol, but as for the snapping…. I think you’ve earned that right! Xxx

There’s always some 1 out there that’s gonna be worser off but snapping is not right every 1 is here looking for answers and reasons not to worry and a bit of help that’s what this forums here for !! not sympathy !! , if you don’t wanna help me on answering my questions of why I’m worried then dnt message me and keep ur spite out of it !! I’m here to help people not compare but thanks for ur input

Reading this has really set me back in making my decision!
I am yet to have my initial consultation and stumbled across the forum! I work as a receptionist and also babysit- I was expecting to have to take 1-2weeks off work but if that pain is that bad is it worth it?

Hun not being funny but you need you remember we all PUT ourselves in this position … We chose to have to op ! There’s people out there in real bad pain , suffering daily after having ops , to save their life , to enable them to live a better life etc !!
Can’t really moan about something we chose to do !
I had mine and was on my own with 4 children one a baby just 4 days post op and yes I was very Uncomfy etc but like my hubby said ” you chose this Jode so you can expect sympathy ” … Very true words !!
However I do hope you are feeling a little more normal soon !!! X
