You wont chicken out I promise you just keep thinking about the reasons you want them done. Best decision I ever made wouldn’t change it for the world. I still get a little nervous now and I’m 2 weeks post op only because you can’t see the end result immediately and thy change so much. Sorry can’t help you on having unders I had overs but I’m sure You will be fine xxx

@jem30 I think it’s completely normal to worry and be nervous! I’m still nervous and my op is in 3 weeks lol, I wish time would hurry up. But I agree with Amanda just think of all the reasons you want them done, that’s definitely what is pulling me through at the mo :). Do you know what sort of size you’d like to be? Xx

Haha my bad! Anaesthetic is nothing to worry about. More like having a nice deep sleep. The staff at the hospitals are amazing and really put you at ease xxx

I was the same, all I was worried about was the anaesthetic lol. I almost chickened out even right up to laying on the bed to be put to sleep. Tell the anaesthetist your worries, I did and he was so lovely, he said ‘I know you don’t believe me but you’re going to have a really good time and enjoy being put to sleep’ and I really did! He came to check on me later that day and the next morning too. Try not to worry because I worried myself silly and lost lots of sleep over nothing, I actually enjoyed it and I’d do it again tomorrow x

I know how you feel. I had a melt down on the day I booked my surgery and decided to cancel it. Luckily my other half made me see sense and talked me through my emotional breakdown. I’m now 3 days post op. I’d never had general anesthetic and it was what I was most nervous of. It was actually really lovely. Like having a lovely deep and peaceful sleep. Just keep the end goal in sight and you’ll be fine.
I love my boobies even though they look like cones stuck to my body atm. Can’t wait for them to settle and be amazing

I’m so mard, Hun and thought I’d chicken out. I took a pic of my pre-op boobs and every time I was having second thoughts I looked at that pic. Had my op on Monday and would do it all again in a heart beat. Was nothing like I expected. Pain was at its worst day 3. I’m day 5 now and feeling much better.
Good luck with your journey xxx

Haha, I hear ya. I’m a belly sleeper and that’s what is killing me right now 🙁 might now ever be able to sleep on my front ever again (might be best for lines on my face anyway) but I’d take side sleeping right now! Xxx

Gemma I am 7 Wks post op and am really happy have no regrets, everyone is right it’s a nice deep sleep. The anaesthetist will come and speak to you when you arrive at the hospital, the guy I had asked me where I had traveled from and did I have any worries, you will every chance to say how you are feeling and he will talk you through everything.
As for sleeping I moaned the whole time couldn’t wait to lay flat lie on my side BUT now I have boobs laying on my side wasn’t as comfortable as it use to be and all I want to do was sleep sitting up haha. Tons of pillows and a few more they are cheap enough from Asda you will be fine. Good luck and try enjoy your experience xx
