New & confused!

Hey ladies, so I had my very first consultation today in Clifton, lovely lady, full of information however when I’d left the friend I took gave me her opinion. She feels the lady was pushing for a certain surgeon & do they get commission? I originally asked about Dr Fiumara however was advised she doesn’t consult in Clifton anymore & id have to go to London (understandable to maybe go with someone else), she advised of Dr Lutz who is very similar & she feels better for what I was after? A small mention of Dr Giannnas but advised he was really busy & again went off & discussed more with Dr Lutz. My friend said she would want to see Dr Giannas as well as if he’s busy is that because he’s good & in high demand. I can’t seem to find work in either dr? Also they’re was lots of mention about over the muscle however I thought that over the muscle was more of a fake look & under was better for a more natural look? Again I had spoken of a natural look but under the muscle wasn’t really mentioned? Just a bit confused now ????? Xxx

Hello lovely, with reference to over and under the muscle… i thought this to be true too. But they offer you over the muscle if you have enough breast tissue to do so. You still get the natural look this way, but I believe the recovery is much easier over the muscle… xxx

Under or over the muscle really depends on how much breast tissue you already have.
Under the muscle is a longer recovery process, but i’ve read that there is less chance of sagging. Both can achieve the natural look.
And the consultants are supposed to match you up to whichever surgeon they think is best suited to what you want/ timeframes/ etc xxx

Hey, I have the same problem, I am a bit cautious as I had my first consultation the other day and the lady only showed me one surgeon and said she recommends him so much and would be so upset if I didn’t choose him, jokingly! There is hardly any information on him, I really want a natural look and was considering teardrop implants. How many surgeons was everyone recommended? Thank you!

It’s so hard isn’t it! The lady said that if she was to have hers done again she would go with the lady she suggested for me but she had no work to show me as although not new at the job, she was new to MYA. The original surgeon I wanted now doesn’t come to the clinic location close to me however still works for MYA but just in London? Do I make the trip to see her but do I also go to the 3rd surgeon who is really busy ???? What a palava. Xx

I had the same problem, I mean everything I have seen on this forum seems like good feedback but everyone has said the same thing about not knowing much about him which makes me nervous. I wanted to see dr fiumara too and I am in London. What I am worried about is that I didn’t really expand on what I was looking for and I don’t want to go through with this if it’s not something I will be confident in! So hard lol xx

I had my op on the 24th of
March and Bristol is my clinic. I had
275cc HP dual plane. I completely understand where you are coming from, I decided to see dr giannas in December. I honestly could not fault him! I would 110% recommend him! My scars are so neat and literally like a hairline! I would listen to what the surgeon suggests! The aftercare I have received has been amazing and have felt reassured throughout!

Personally if you feel you need to see a certain surgeon, then you should! It’s got to feel right for you not because someone tells you that’s who they think you need to see.

Dr Linda was my surgeon 3 weeks ago. She has the hands of an angel and I’d recommend her to anyone and everyone. She’s so lovely. She was matched to me and I didn’t even question it. I’m so thankful she was my surgeon x

Ah thank you, I think I want to see him as well. I’m going to book in with him and the lady that my PC recommended Dr Lutz and see what they both suggest and go from there xx

I’ve been following her on Instagram & I haven’t seen one post that I don’t like the look of!! I’m going to ask to meet Dr Lutz and Dr Giannas in Clifton but I’m going to ask again about Linda & have also messaged her privately. If I don’t do it il always be thinking i wish I’d met with her xxx
