I stumbled upon this forum and decided to sign up in order to share my “assets” and celebrate their 1st birthday! 😀
A little about me: I’m 26 years old. Almost 2 years ago, before me and my now husband were to marry I decided to lose weight. I went from my “biggest” at 13st 5lbs and 36F to 10st 9lbs and 32DD. I was very happy with the weight I’d lost, but very unhappy with also losing my boobs.
I had my BA procedure in February 2013 at the Preston hospital with DR Traynor. I spent a year going to consultations with various clinics, I knew in my mind exactly what I wanted: BIG implants, BIG boobs, fake looking, but not “footballs-cut-in-half-and-stuck-in-place” fake, and I was adamant I did not want an uplift. Nobody seemed to be able to give me what I want, until I went to the consultation with MYA in Manchester. I immediately felt more comfortable with the nurse, and later surgeon, in my initial consultations, I never felt like I was being pushed into something I did not want. Other clinics had insisted I needed an uplift, and that I wouldn’t be able to have the size implant I needed to achieve the effect I wanted. Dr Traynor, told me I wouldn’t need an uplift, and I could have 800cc implants.
In the few days after the procedure I, admittedly, began to feel regret for having it done. I’d paid out a lot of money, I was in a lot of pain, constantly worrying I might accidentally knock my boobs and cause some damage, and they were exactly the “footballs-cut-in-half-and-stuck-in-place” look I didn’t want!
Fortunately, with time (and care!) the pain eased, the swelling reduced and I realised, in fact, they were exactly what I wanted! I am a 32GG, and even after a year of rarely wearing a bra they are still as pert as they ever were!
I had a very minor complication (if you could even call it that!) with the incision on my right breast. A roughly 1in long part wouldn’t heal, and became infected. However, trips to the MYA clinic in Manchester to have my dressings replaced, and antibiotics from my doctor soon solved the problem. Since then I have never, ever had any sort of problem with them (apart from them occasionally getting in the way!)
I couldn’t be more happy with them. I love to show them off, covering them with as little clothing as possible (in public, at least!)! Men, and even other women, will stop and stare. Personally, I love the attention they get. They have even earned me money by way of glamour modelling 😉
I am so used to the size of them now I would love to go bigger in future. The only regret I have is I really wished I’d had them done sooner! If you are considering having a BA my advice would be absolutely, totally, 100% get it done asap, and only with MYA!
