new nose :)

well ive finally done it!!ten years of wanting it and no its still not sunk in when i have a splint on my face lol
had my rhinoplasty at Fitzroy in London on sun so only in day 2 of recovery feel a little better today if anyone has any questions id be happy to answer or just chat as its quite boring being stuck in like this ha x

thanx hun honestly its not bad at all its the best thing ive eva done i fell asleep in my room and got woke up by my nurse to go down lol so that helped coz i didnt have time to get worked up x

aww no way what time did u have urs done?i was there for 9am but didnt go down till half 2! i got told there was 4 of us n i was third i hardly bruised at all so iv got nothing now 🙂 had my stitches out on fri n get the splint off sat:) how u feelin? x

i was second! so went in just before you, i was due for 8am but didnt go in until gone 12. I had open rhinoplasty and bruised alot! i had my stitches out yesterday and cast off on the 11th. generally i felt fine its just annoying trying to breathe through my mouth and sleeping slightly upright x

aww ha no way i had open too but me n my mum were shocked that i only bruised slightly on my eyes its was mainly yellow too so its all gone yer the worst bit for me was the dry sore throat my nose hasnt hurt once my throat is jst stated to feel ok now so cant bloody wait for sat its gettin bit itchy under it now lol x

my throat has been fine so far =) my hand has a massive bruise from the needle aswell, did you have much swelling? ive heard when the cast comes off it looks great and then it swells and gets bigger =( but yeah ive been tempted to use a cocktail stick for the itching its driving me mad!!! x

aww ur lucky lol my sense of taste has only just come back too lol yer i got a bruise on my hand too that came off worse then my face loool yer im dreadin the swellin aslong as i can look and feel nice for xmas i dont mind, have u managed to shower n wash ur hair?i had to wash mine with my mum over the bath but i had a body shower last night and was worried coz the steam made the plaster sticky on my nose :s x

i had a bath 3 days after the op, i had blood in my ear and hair so really couldnt wait any longer. the plaster has gone sticky on my nose aswell =/ its holding on and only a week to go until it all comes off anyway so ill just be extra careful. i really cant wait though! how did you find the stitches when they took them out…i was almost crying lol!! they also removed some of the plaster which hurt even more x

oo glad its not just me lol yer not gonna lie it hurt lol a couple i didnt feel at all but the rest was awful lol aww no dont say it hurts gettin the splint off too lol i thought all the pain was over lol x

i know right! she removed as much plaster as poss to make it easier when taking cast off which is great because i can wash my face easier now. have you been out anywhere with the cast on your face? x

awww thats good ive still got it slapped all across my face lol erm no lol i saw my bf for the forst time yday i was pretty embarassed lol but he made me feel better i sent him in tesco coz i dint wana go in loool u? x

i went out to eat last night for the first time, i picked a table in the corner with my back to everyone lol the waitress said in a very sympathetic voice oh dear whats happened lol i was like new nose!! i wore a scarf with a hood so i can hide easier but i dont like it.i have to do the school run next week and they annoyingly have their xmas fayre etc =s x

oooo ur brave lol i could go anywhere atm lol i av ppl gawpin at me when im driving its mental its lk i only have a splint on my nose i really feel for ppl who do look diff or have a deformity coz ppl just stare.aww last week tho i just cnt wait to get my hair done n make up on n get out with the girls agen n not give a s*** what ppl think of how i look :)x

i go back to work the day after my cast comes of…uh oh lol yeah im suprised how many people stare, although i found that when i had it done in london i stayed in the radisson around the corner and not one person looked..i suppose they are used to it as there was a few private hospitals near. yeah im also looking forward to hair and makeup overhaul, im planning on experimenting more as i had veneers fitted a week before my nose lol x

awww no way im very jel im dying to get mine done but waayyy to skint now lol thats the only other thing i dont really like are my teeth but it was my nose more.yer i think i might change my hair colour n diff make up now spose just have to wait and see it first and have a play around x

well i had them whitened then i decided that some were set too far back making the front 2 teeth look really big, they look great although i have to be really careful when eating. i was thinking of going darker in regards to my hair..will have to see my nose first lol x

you fell asleep before? haha you mustve been quite relaxed! Jealous. so you really just go in, get put to sleep and then you wake up? What didn’t you like about your nose? And how did you find telling everyone? I’ve just started to tell a couple of close friends that im thinking about it and they kind of freaked out. Your mum sounds so supportive though so that mustve helped..! My mums pretty anti it.

It’s nice to read your messages so I know what I have to look forward too lol.

My admission time was 1pm and I literally went in like half hour after so didn’t even have time to settle or think or get nervous!!

I had the ice cream and oh my god it helped my throat so much and was delicious!!

well done pav, glad it went well. my nose is trying to clear today, every so often i can breathe then it blocks up again lol i really cant wait to get this cast off though the itching is insane! its looking very good from what i can see..i have a very good feeling about this lol xx
