Hi ladies I really don’t want to frighten you away but if you are new to the forum you should be aware of a few things :-
1 a lot of people will send you friend requests who u have never spoken to or commented on anything you have written. Best advice ask for private message and have a chat first. You may think that this is picky but read tip 2 and 3
2 if you comment on someone’s post your avatar pic appears on the google search engine if you type in the question you originally answered click on images it comes up with your reply and the whole conversation for example one of the girls asked about the asda bra you can imagine my dismay when one of my friends clicked on best fit asda sports bra and it came up with a picture of my boobs and a link to the whole conversation showing all the comments etc for the entire posts on that question everyone’s profile pictures including faces and what their replies were x I’ve changed my avatar as have a lot of the genuine girls but my boobs in my bra are still there for all the world to see.
3 there are actually men on this forum who get there rocks off by adding u as a friend and just want to look at your boobies. Weird
4 this is a good forum to ask questions etc you can’t go wrong reading all your literature from mya and also reading comments on the boobie bible which has been bumped quite a lot but type it in on the search at the top and you can find it xxx
5 no one has all the answers everyone is different some of us have problems with shape, infections, recovery, bra sizes but everyone is different don’t let some stories put you off but don’t think it’s a walk in the park either this is major surgery and should not be undertaken lightly xx
6 lots of girls on here will help and advise etc but don’t take it personally if people don’t add you if you just send a friend request yes I know it’s scary and we are all in the same boat but re read 1,2 and 3 and just send a little bit of background in a private message etc and enter into a chat first x the other problem on the forum if one of us has commented on someone else’s post we have to remember what we have commented on and scroll back if you have put our name and asked about an add unless we started the topic we don’t tend to find it x
7 if you post that you have a problem with anything be prepared to be inundated with friend requests don’t take it personally you are in control of who you add etc and you are not a freak show.
Ok so that’s all the things to take into account I’m sure I’ll get a lot of negatives from this post but you know what I don’t really care I wish I had been a bit more prepared of what to expect from the forum then I wouldn’t have been so shocked to see my boobs on google. Anyway on a postive note good luck ladies it takes a lot of guts and strength to get through this procedure it’s not meant to be easy it’s a rollacoaster ride emotionally and physically xxx I’m ten weeks on Tuesday still worried about my right one especially when I’ve no bra on as it’s still higher than the left but I am sure we will all be happy with our results in the end xxxxxxx
